"New condenser and electronic inverter control assembly installed. Units sealed system vacuumed down in excess of +30 minutes ensuring the system reached and maintained a 29 inch vacuum. Unit restored to power and charged with 4.50oz R134a. Full charge dispensed into the system however, unit pressures held in a 10' inch vacuum on the low side, +110psi on the high side, restriction still present. Derek with Whirlpool T/ L advised on unit history and current status. After a total runtime of more than +45 minutes T/L had instructed to disconnect the unit from power and monitor unit pressures. After more than 5 minutes unit pressures failed to equalize confirming restriction of the sealed system. As all repair attempts taken have failed to clear the restriction, T/L has deemed the unit non-repairable. The customer will be contacted by Whirlpool Customer Service to advise on next course to action to resolve. All information has been recorded under Whirlpool SR# 7737789355."

Inspection conducted finding no additional component damages. New water inlet housing assembly installed. Unit ran through calibration and auto test without fault and/or water leaks. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of repair. Customer to continue normal use and advise should further repair service be required.

"No fault error codes recorded in unit history. Inspection conducted finding the units suspension system heavily worn resulting in out of balance load conditions and preventing entry into high speed spin. No other physical damage found throughout inspection. New suspension kit supplied by pre-ID installed to correct. Unit ran through calibration cycle, auto test and manual load testing in diagnostics as well as initial Rinse & Spin cycle all without fault and/or water leaks. All unit test and operations check good upon completion of repair. Customer to advise.

"Prior to service the customer had cleared the RC defrost drain effectively correcting the originally reported water leak issue. However, an issues pertaining to the ice maker exists. Customer states, the units ice maker previous installed in 2019 had originally worked without fault and/or water leaks for no less than six months or before a large ice mass had developed originating from the ice maker water fill tube locking the ice bin and all shelves below in position. After initial failure the customer had turned off ice production and has not a resumed ice maker operation sinse. Inspection has found the ice maker water fill cup and all ice cubes segments clear of ice and/or obstruction. Found the ice maker water fill cup water deflector has moved from the seated position at right to the front of the water fill cup. Issue had originally occurred when low water pressure issues were present with the original RO water system. Original failure likely caused by low water pressure which had failed to seat the inlet water valve allowing for continuous water flow before the valve had eventually been able to close. The homes RO water system has since been replaced with a new unit. Ice maker water deflector reinstalled in position and ice maker completed harvest cycle without fault and/or water leaks. Customer to monitor advise should further service be required.

Damaged the gearcase during the process of removing the Washplate. Customer does not wish to repair unit at this time.
