"New lid latch assembly installed restoring proper engagement between the units lid strike and the new lid latch. Power restored for testing finding the original control compromised due to prior lid latch failure. New control installed completing repair. Unit ran through calibration cycle, auto test and manual load testing in diagnostics without fault and/or water leaks. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service. Found that the plastic cover for the wires (on the control board )had popped open and was hitting against the tub during spin. Repositioned wire cover door. Lock tabs on both sides appears secure now. Job complete.
