"Customer concerned that the unit is not cooling properly. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, found defrost issue. Accessed evaporator and checked resistance of the defrost thermistor and it is reading correctly in ice. Checked resistance of the heater and got 35ohms. Found no voltage supplied to the heater during defrost. Unit has defective main control. Quoted customer to replace the main control. Customer approved. Installed new part and informed customer to leave the unit unplugged for 48 hours so the ice can melt. Customer understood. Job complete.
