Looked as though there was ice on the evaporator in the back. Did not see the evaporator fan running at the time. Did a power reset on the unit just from the control on the facia of this unit. After just a couple minutes did see the fan working at that time. Will have to reschedule for return visit to retrieve data logger.; O-emld tckt

"Unable to detect any trace of reported electrical burning odor. Customer states, odor was somewhat faint, only noticed for a short time, was not noticed inside the refrigerator and could not be positively confirmed that it had been originating from the refrigerator. Customer had recently installed a surge suppressor at the refrigerator electrical outlet. Surge suppressor was found to be warm to the touch and may or may not have been the origin of reported electrical burning odor. Surge suppressor removed to rule out the suppressor as a possible source. All unit tests, operations and temperatures check good with exception to recently installed ice maker which again reports E2 (Lost Position) and had failed to produce ice over the last three days. Units ice maker ran through and completed harvest cycle test without fault. Icemaker water fill test initiated. Units isolation valve / dual inlet water valve could be heard energized with no water flow. Facia / ice maker water fill tube heater test performed confirming proper voltage supplied. Heater test left in operation estimated five minutes thawing ice blockage within the water fill tube restoring water flow to the ice maker. Power cycle conducted following end of testing. Ordering new ice maker assembly per recorded fault. Customer instructed to monitor unit operations and to call for immediate return service should burning odor reoccur and confirmed originating from the refrigerator. "Got back to the unit to find that the diffuser was making lots of noise. Hence the reason why diffuser was ordered. This had happened on a previous visit to this customer. Due to this fact of having this repeated issue, again, ordering the user interface, since this is where the logic for the unit is believe this to be opening and closing the diffuser door too often. Looked inside the unit to Find if there was something blocking diffuser. Talking with the customer, they decided they would re-orient the top shelf to ensure the facilitation of this issue to not hopefully happen again and would be able to report on return visit. However, this being an ongoing problem, believe it to be something internal. Customer did not have excessive amounts of things blocking diffuser at all. It was just a suggestion for re-orientation.
