I removed and replaced both the control and pump in motor assembly. I ran a factory diagnostic cycle to restore factory defaults and checked for leaks and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

Came and installed new compressor and Orion board which came all as a kit and compressor it still not kicking on. Called techline again and we went through it and did all our checked and he told us there is nothing else we can do . It will go under review. SR #7739229291 job complete.

"On arrival found *Service EC 40 / EC 24 displayed. Unit ran through diagnostic testing confirming all unit thermistors reading accurately. As reported found heavy frost accumulation on the RC rear panel throughout the area of the RC evaporator. Found multiple frozen items throughout the lower section of the RC. Units FC temperature checks good matching set point of 0?F +/- 3?F. Confirmed proper function and operation of both the FC / RC light and fan switches / fan motors. Door seal of both the FC / RC also check good finding no areas of worm air and filtration. Further inspection has found proper operation and speed of the condenser fan motor however, the condenser was found to be heavily matted preventing proper airflow and dissipation of heat resulting in long compressor runtimes and warmer operational temperatures. Philip with Subzero Tech Support advised on findings and has suggested unit status and conditions found appear due to a possible intermittent fault of the units RC evaporator fan motor door switch, evaporator fan motor and/or warm air infiltration. Units door switch and light switch show no signs of hesitation and/or failure. Units RC evaporator fan motor also operating at speed without hesitation and/or fault at time of service. Customer is confident the door has not been left ajar at any point. Units condenser blown out under compressed air to clear heavy matting, matting debris cleared from the unit compartment area. All frost cleared from the units RC evaporator to restore proper airflow. All unit test and operations cleared upon completion of service. Customer to monitor and advise should further service be required.

"Found the unit disconnected from power and at ambient temperature upon arrival. Prior to part installation full inspection conducted. Confirmed proper resistance of both the defrost heater element and defrost thermistor. All FC wire harness connections secure. However, did find the units defrost sensor loosely connected resulting in poor thermal read as noted in Whirlpool Technical Service Pointer #: W11550688 Rev. A. All test procedures conducted as per the pointer finding no other operational and/or related component failures. Units defrost thermistor secured for optimal defrost performance. Power restored to the unit for diagnostic testing. Found the units start device relay tripping out on overload in compressor run test. Through second course of diagnostic testing and normal cooling operations the units compressor has resumed normal function. Confirmed proper frost pattern developing at the evaporator. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to monitor and advise should further service be required.

Customer installed a new garbage disposal and did not punch out the drain hose connection knock out. As a result unit was leaking. I punched out the knockout and tested it. I heard debris inside drain pump. Removed drain pump and found a small piece of metal inside there that was making noise. Reinstalled drain pump and tested all functions and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

"Go to this unit to find that the icemaker was not receiving proper water from the fill tube. Was able to get into the unit and found that the fill tube had a chunk of ice in it that was prohibiting the water from going into the maker and making the water go out and around the maker. This was the explanation for the water on the bottom side of the unit. was able to drop this small chunk of ice out of the field tube and initiate testing. Water was able to make it into the maker without issue. No drips drops or otherwise. Unit should be ready for making ice at this time and no further leaks to be seen.

Installed parts. Tested operation of the door and it is now working properly. Job complete.

Water connection left exposed while clearing all ice and water accumulation throughout the RC interior and component parts. Water leak no longer occurring. RC interior reassembled. "5585 gc got to this unit to find that the refrigerator temperatures were approximately 48? and freezer temperatures sitting at zero to negative one. Found that the fan in the freezer section appears to be blowing nice and hard. However, the refrigerator section does not appear to be receiving much of it. was able to get into both refrigerator and freezer side to verify no ice blockage in the pathways and damper door is actually opening and closing with the opening and closing of the refrigerator door. These components appear to be working correctly however the unit does not seem to have full force of air going into the refrigerator section. Did not see the evaporator completely frozen over but did see frost on it. Did not seem to be excessive amount of frost. Unit was also producing plenty of ice. Got the unit back together. Customer to let us know if the unit starts working correctly."

Go to this unit to hear from the customer that it is not washing. Ran testing to find that the unit had error code F4E34 faulty pump motor. This was also verified in diagnostics. After verification with the customer to discuss future repair and estimate. Customer did not approve estimate and will be more than likely purchasing a new unit. Job complete.

Got back to the unit and installed new control. Once new control was installed found the unit to be able to be tested and was able to get unit calibrated and automatic test run. Job complete.

Found leak in evap and line to cabinet customer to replace unit per subzero only 1 year on all units on a boat.

"Customer reported residual soap suds leftover at end of cycle. Advised customer when using a highly concentrated soap pod on an express wash with dishes that have been pre-washed, the soap has nothing to react to, and the cycle is too short to fully dissolve and rid the machine of soap. Recommended using a light or normal wash cycle. Customer will monitor and advise."

"Installed new heat exchanger, flushed condenser again and verified absolutely no leaks or restrictions. Monitored frost pattern after recharge for roughly 30-40 minutes and frost pattern is developing very strong, and pressures are 0psi low and 110psi high. Found unit running in about a 25in vacuum. Both compartments are ambient temps. Unit is out of refrigerant and not economical to repair the sealed system. Customer to replace.

Unable to locate any refrigerant leaks (using bubbles solution) after pressurizing system with 250 pounds of nitrogen. Released all pressure and installed filter dye drier. Recharge system is 5 1/2 ounces or 134A. Advise Mr. to allow 24 hours before temps are back to normal. Customer states icemaker has not been working. Found and replaced faulty icemaker. Advise Mr. to monitor unit.

Install new gearcase assembly and wash plate. Tested operation of the unit and it is now working properly. Job complete. Revised estimate since it did not need the nut spanner.

"Got to this unit and found that the power was turned off to the icemaker. Customer says that they had been turning the unit on and off trying to get it to function. After cycling, the power on the icemaker was able to get it to run test harvest. During test harvest noticed that there was no ice in the mold. And visibly see that the tube was frozen. Was able to remove ice out of the tube and retest icemaker. Found that we were now getting water to the maker. No further issues found at this timewill have to go through and start making ice before we know whether or not this is a viable fix or not."

"SR# 7739284819 - during disassembly of unit found drain grommet in the cabinet was completely rusted out due to a leak inside the liner. Submitted photos to Whirlpool Tech line and unit was deemed non-repairable. Called customers extended warranty, provided the file number to them and confirmed unit is non-repairable in their system. Customer to contact warranty company for next steps.

Customers concerned that front left burner would delay about five or six seconds before it would ignite. I checked the burner and burner cap and also the igniter and they were fine. I called Whirlpool Techline he spoke with Bruce . He asked me if we were testing this with or without a pan on top of the burner and we were not. He advised that we place a pan on top of the burner and when we did it immediately ignited. I tested this about 30=40 times and it is ok.Job complete SR#7739277314

Unit leveled for secure platform and proper door swing. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"F9-E1 (Diverter: Cant Find Position), F10-E1 (Dispenser Electrical Problem) & F8-E2 (Drain Motor Electrical Problem) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Initial inspection as found excessive detergent residue throughout the tank interior. Customer had been unaware of the filter assembly. As such, the filter had never been cleaned. Units filter found to be completely blocked by heavy and solid buildup of detergent. Filter cleared as best as possible. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test with poor wash pressure from the wash pump motor. Pour wash performance due to excessive detergent residue buildup as initially found. Multiple unit components would need to be installed to restore acceptable performance however, cost of repair exceeds unit value. Due to the unit age and repair cost the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time.

Installed all new parts. Tested operation of the ice dispenser and it is now working properly. Job complete.
