Got to the unit to find refrigerator temps 75? freezer temps in the negative. Determined that the downdraft of the refrigerator section going to freezer were frozen over in the freezer section. There was no indication that the unit was not defrosting thoroughly other than the spots that were not defrosted. The rest of the evaporator had normal defrost pattern going on. Believe this to be an outcome of the defrost thermistor not being low enough or close enough to the evaporator to register properly. Move the defrost sensor to do so. After defrosting the unit plugged back in and turned on. At this time unit started to cool back down saw 45? in fridge raider section before leaving. heater in the freezer section tested good as well as wire harness and Eva fan. No further recommendations at this time. Well have to wait to see what this unit does. Collected for service call and labor for defrosting.

Got to the unit and installed new door seals and Molean strip. Once parts installed found the door gaskets needed to be heated. This helped to expand and seal door gaskets properly. Also level the unit back slightly from the front to help doors. Want to stay shut against the refrigerator cabinet. also found the lower sections were set for 32?. This also played a part in being too cold in the bottom section which was where we were seeing most of the condensation. Within 24 hours condensation should stop.

Got back to this unit to find slightly warmer temperatures than desired for this unit. Call tech line to see what if any remedy. I and was told that this unit on coldest refrigerator setting will be somewhere between 38 and 42?. This being the case for this customer not being acceptable temperatures. future possibilities to be remedied by the customer.
