"Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the drain pump was running all the time. I found indeed that the pressure sensor had failed on this unit and causing the drain pump to run incessantly. Was able to exchange out the control board to fix this unit. After doing so ran calibration, and automatic test to confirm operation. No further issues found at this time. Job complete."

"Got this unit to hear from the customer that the icemaker was replaced and unit was giving more water than what it should and creating large slabs of ice rather than cubes. Tested and found that this unit was receiving proper cool to the ice room as well as the ice room fan working correctly. After this was found discussed with the customer about replacing the dual valve in this unit to either keep this unit from leaking water into the tray when it shouldnt or just in general, giving too much water. Gave the customer an estimate for exchanging out the dual valve and was approved.Was able to replace the valve and test. Found that we were indeed getting water to the dispenser and to the icemaker as needed. This will be a wait-and-see condition as the unit will need to do it on its own now. Job complete.

Got to this unit and was able to install new door as well as new control board. After installation of these parts tested and found that the icemaker is indeed now working and was able to move through without issue. Customer to let us know if this unit is not working within 48 hours. Looking good so far. Job complete.

"Replaced harness and lid latch assembly ordered on previous visit. Tested operations, found unit operating as designed, however found a clicking noise during the spin cycle. Tipped the unit up and found physical damage to the cam causing the click. Replaced defective part with part from truck stock. Ran a calibration and an auto test to completion successfully. Unit now operates as designed.

"Cx complaint: water dispensing in two streams.Upon arrival, tested the water dispenser and confirmed cx complaint. Inspected the dispenser and found no physical damage. Used a steamer to clean the water line at the dispenser. Found gunk which had built up over time had come loose and fallen out. Tested water dispenser again and it now dispenses in one stream. Unit now operates as designed."

Replaced defective compressor. Vacuumed the system for 15 minutes. Confirmed no leaks. Charged the system with 51g R600. Plugged the unit in and the compressor kicked on. Felt the condenser line start to heat up. Went around to the front of the unit and opened the freezer. Felt cold crisp air blowing in the freezer. Unit now operates as designed. "Sr#7742419246 got to this unit to hear from the customer that the washer was not filling on several different cycles. Was able to get into diagnostics and find there to be error code 84 for water hazard. Also another error code for basket re-engagement and another for overload. These error codes were being presented due to the fact that the unit was only giving approximately a gallon of water on the cycle that I was testing on. This happens several times in a row. This was occurring due to the extra power feature being turned on, there is now a service pointer for this to help explain more to the technicians and the customers this is quite a bit of an issue with this particular unit as I only saw approximately 1 gallon of water going into this unit. This is obviously a problem when there is more than just a small amount of clothes in this unit. in order to fix this problem, it is more or less just turning off the extra power feature in which case this unit did indeed receive a lot more water. Went from this unit receiving maybe 1 gallon of water if that to the unit receiving almost a full tub of water on a high water setting. tested this on two different settings to ensure that we were indeed getting proper water levels. This unit exhibited proper behavior through this testing after turning off extra power. I believe this should be the end of this. Informed the customer about all the changes that were made, and what was seen throughout this process. Had called into tech line to get this reported and also find if there was any other options or issues that I was supposed to be aware of for this. Unit is behaving properly at the moment job complete."

"Cx complaint: unit wont drain.Upon arrival, tipped the unit up and found broken wires going to the drain pump. Quoted cx for a new lower wire harness. Estimate was approved. Replaced defective wire harness and tested operations successfully. Unit now operates as designed.

Came to inspect unit and determine the unit keeps building condensation on the right door where both the seal feels the inner part of the unit and lot of water drips onto the floor. Notice the bottom right side where the gasket meets the unit with wont seal and leaves a gap. Realized the problem is the liner on the unit is bent out therefore it wont allow the door to close flush. Its not repairable. I called techline and they told me to take pictures and email it to them and they will look into it and get back to customer. Job complete.

"1973 got to this unit to hear from the customer that it was not spinning out close properly. Found, and discovered that the hot and cold lines have been reversed. That was part of the problem. The rest of the problem was that the rotor screw holding the rotor on was slightly loose, and the slider had failed. Was able to replace slider and get the unit back together. Tested after this and found that the slider was indeed moving into position correctly and no longer having problems doing so. Tested operation to confirm all of these things and found the unit to now be working correctly. No further issues found. When I came out last time and removed the door links to get the door out to work on it. And didnt realize this model and 3 thick springs 1 for one side and 2 for the other side. Wasnt aware of it so I only I stalled 1 on each side . So there wants enough tension to keep the door from falling down. I installed the 3rd one where it belongs and door is now working properly. Job complete. This was a recall so there is no charge.

Diagnosed unit and determine the icemaker is getting 120 VAC but will not activate. It is faulty. Will need part replaced. Gave customer an estimate and he approved it. Installed new icemaker tested operation of the icemaker and they received the water. Tested properly job complete.

Came and determined the freon leak is coming from the dryer. Install new process valve and new dryer. Vacuum system for 30 minutes. We charge system with correct amount of refrigerant. 56 grams R600a.

Got this unit to hear from the customer that they were finding an error code for water temperature too high. Tested and could not find any error codes that the unit would display anything close to this. Through testing the only thing that was found was that the shifter could be heard making noise against the rotor as this unit was trying to spin. This has been a common problem to find this and know that there is a loose screw holding the rotor on in which case the shifter is pushing the rotor away from itself and causing these odd noises and in some cases not able to finish complete or actually run a cycle. Was able to tighten up the screw without issue and found that the unit was indeed responding correctly. Ran a calibration and found the unit to be working correctly now. Job complete

"Got to this unit to install new ice bin and ice door. Was able to exchange ice out to the new bin. Then was able to remove ice door and replace with new ice door. "Unit ran through operational testing, again all unit components operating without issue, unable to duplicate component failure. Per customers description, excessive run times with poor drying performance in both sensor dry and timed dry option cycles appear due to decreased component function through prolonged continued use. However, issue did not present throughout the duration of initial and/or current service. Units timer suspected as a primary failing component but, cannot be confirmed. Issue could also be a combination of multiple unit components decreasing functionality however, not yet failed. Advancement of service with part(s) installation based solely on potential rather than proven component failures could meet or well exceed replacement cost. As failure cannot be confirmed, the unit has exceeded 24yrs in use and rising discontinued part status, further attempts at repair service not recommended at this time.

"Customer reports slowly decreasing drying performance resulting in increasing dry times and/or requiring more than one dry cycle to complete. States no fault codes displayed. This unit is a condensate dry unit, not vented model. Found customer had not been aware of regular maintenance beyond the initial drum lint filter as with a traditional vented model. As such, the units condenser had never been cleaned of lint and debris decreasing performance. Heavy lint buildup has accumulated throughout the lower venting ductwork as a result. Per customer request, use and care given covering general cleaning and maintenance to correct and prevent reoccurring issues. Customer will complete general maintenance cleaning, continue normal use and advise should further service be required.
