"SR# 7739163328 - Found evaporator frosted up again. Spoke with Whirlpool Techline and advised what weve done so far. Heater and thermistor both still check good. Tested defrost thermistor through the cabinet to main control and verified no broken wires. Was recommended to replace main control board. Replaced control and unit kicked into a defrost immediately. Assisted the defrost manually with a steamer since it was so frosted up. All operations test OK at this time, customer will monitor and advise."

"Got back to this unit and installed new tub ring this was the new updated part. Also installed new dispenser since the previous one was not giving all of the liquid out of it. Was given Sr7739163217 for documentation.. if issue returns will need cover W11395639 and drain pan W11090564 plus shipping, tax, and additional labor. Mr. to advise."

Noticed thin layer of dust underneath unit and it doesnt seem to be disturbed by any water leak. Took a few pictures. Did not notice any water damage at all. Checked valve and sumo assembly and found no defect or leak. Spray arms are secure and dont seem to be cracked. Found slightly loose vent cap on the inner door, and no high loop under the sink. Adjusted vent cap and zip tied line up higher under the sink. Ran unit a bit longer and found no leak whatsoever. Informed customer to monitor and let us know if they notice any leaks. "Got back to this unit to hear from the customer that in trying different load sizes they were still only seeing the minimum settings or medium set for water given. Changed out the user interface to test to see if this would make any difference. On a white setting cycle was able to achieve a full basket of water Without clothes. However, when further testing was done to find out if high or medium was giving correct amounts found out the unit. Unit appeared to only be giving medium amount of water on a high setting. Because of this call back into tech line and spoke with them again.because of the route that we have taken, there are no further repairs to be made according to Techline. This unit will be sent over to engineers and the customer will have to deal with customer service about this issue from here out. Job complete."

SR# 7739156663 - found unit throwing inverter failure fault and also mica plate burnt. Pulled unit and found magnetron antenna completely burned up and 2 arc marks in waveguide. Advised Techline on unit and confirmed unit is non-repairable due to burnt waveguide. Customer to replace.

Installed new control and placed unit into diagnostics. Confirmed heater working excellent. Job complete

"Upon arrival, placed unit into diagnostic mode and found stored fault code F7E5 (faulty shifter). Placed unit into auto test mode and confirmed unresponsive shifter. Installed new shifter assembly, and re-calibrated unit. Cleared fault, code, and ran auto test again. Confirmed unit properly shifting from agitate to spin . job complete

"Got back to this unit and installed new icemaker. This was specifically due to the fact that the data recorder was showing negative one for a -2? setting in the unit unit. This is more than adequate temperature for this unit to be producing ice. However, since I have been here, this unit has barely made half of a bin of ice. Customer has not been home during this time. Temperatures fluctuate. Retrieve data today as well. Since new icemaker is installed and installed new motor for the dispenser flap this part was causing irregular noises intermittently. If these issues continue, will have to come back and discuss with Techline the next steps to fix this. At this time, we need to let the unit do its job and see what its going to do on its own. Found top hinge screw rounded out called techline advised will be sent for review for product exchange sr#7739145316. Advised customer that whirlpool will contact them of exchange and time of delivery.

"Sr#7739147465 from tech lineTrade partner reference # 7739034632 Got back to this unit and had installed new bottom drawer slides. With installing these parts found that there was absolutely no change in the behavior of the opening and closing of the drawer if anything it was almost identical. Due to this issue immediately called into tech line to get this reported and recorded. While waiting for Techline to answer, found there to be further damage to the lower extremities of the cabinet or feet of this unit , this was damaged enough to see the enamel missing from the legs on the feet. This was recorded and documented with Techline because of the issues found line not only recorded this, but had me call into trade partners to see what was going to be done for the customer. Called into tech line and got information relayed over to them. Was told that with this sort of damage the customer should expect a phone call from trade partners within 3 to 5 days. Gave the customers this information as well as the SR numbers for both trade partners and tech line. Believes that the unit has been deemed non-repairable, but is being sent for review."

Checked unit found unit not cooling. Checked pressures and they were low. Corrected pressures to test. Customer does not want to do sealed system repair at this time.

Came to install the tub assembly but determine the original is working properly. Nothing is wrong with it. Will return the part back. Job complete

"Hood fan installation specs specifying total length of vent pipe-at 50,at least 7 in diameter,this unit has 2 - 90 degree bends in wall though and that adds an additional 40 in length,breaking up the vortex,I made a call to tech support file #7738558881"

"Recall - washer goes right into spin after filling,I ran diagnostics and found no saved error codes,also calibrated the machine and tested on quick wash and normal to see if unit would do issues reported,no apparent problems at this point

Consistent with Whirlpool service pointer W11695259 Rev A vibrate during spin. I follow the instructions and bent the locking tabs at the bottom of the rear panel as outlined in the service pointer. I tested all functions and at that point the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

Got back to the unit and installed new dispenser drawer. The old dispenser drawer was not an updated version. This was more than likely most of the problem this dispenser was having. Part that is updated has redesigned holes to keep the spray from making it out the front of this unit. Tested the unit several different ways to ensure function and no leaks. No leaks job complete

Confirmed good heat transfer throughout the unit compartment area and cooling at the evaporator plate. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Got to this unit to hear the icemaker making lots of loud noises as working. Replaced icemaker due to that. Then replace the control board with the unit powered down. Power the unit back up and did testing found that the icemaker is rolling around and accepted water. Unit should be back to normal operation within 24 to 48 hours. Job complete.

Installed new main control board. Confirmed all components running properly. Cleaned condenser coils and removed lower drain pan for cleaning. Confirmed temperature dropping in short time. Advised Mrs. to allow 24 hours before temps are back to normal. Job complete.

Installed new dispencer and advised customer to monitor unit.. Lady did say not using the settings that use the bleach dispencer sense i have been gone showed that the unit has not been leaking... But advised them to call us if they do see leak

Got to the unit and replace gear case. Got unit back together tested the unit. No further issues found at this time. Job complete ran calibration and automatic cycle without issue.

Found the units electronic printed circuit board used for advancement of the timer in sensor dry cycles had been pulled from the contactor resulting in continuous run condition reported. No physical damage found throughout inspection. Electronic reinstalled and secured to correct. Unit ran through *More Dry sensing cycle +15min confirming proper advancement of the timer. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"Customer concerned that the unit is over cooling in the deli drawer. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, removed deli drawer and found loose screw for the temperature control mechanism, allowing cold air to leak into the deli drawer. Tightened screw and verified air leak stopped. Entered diagnostics and ran test 3 for the evaporator fan and air baffle. Air baffle and fan are working properly. Also transferred defrost setting from adaptive defrost to traditional. Informed customer to give unit 1-2 days to adjust. All ops good at this time. Job complete.

Used gas detector on the whole oven every spot I could. Did not get any gas detections at all. Customer will let us know If she smells it again.

Came and installed new motor drive and unit is still giving me an off balance error. We have changed multiple parts and still not fixed. Techline and myself had tried all scenarios but to no prevail. It has been redeemed unrepairable..here is the SR #7738935951

"Got back to this unit and pulled the shoot out under the ice bin. Saw lots of frost in this area and under the ice bin. When the shoot was removed, found that the bottom most gasket had a quarter inch gap or more between where it was supposed to meet. This is well as not having any gasket underneath the shoot to prevent this air from making it in was causing all of this frost and ice underneath all of these parts. Was able to replace and use gasket necessary places to seal this part off from the freezer door area. Once this was done, believe this to be sealed off much better and decrease the amount of frost and ice built up underneath this ice bin. Customer to let us know how this affects or fixes units issues. Job complete"

Got back and replaced parts that were ordered. Replaced all parts needed as well after installation tested the unit to find all parts now working properly no further issues found at this time. Job complete.

Got back to this unit and installed new heater cover for the dispenser of the ice to the bin. Was able to verify that the unit was full of ice not having any problems any further. Job complete.

Replaced left front burner switch. Checked operation ok job complete

"Got to this unit to hear from the customer that there is a banging noise, kind of like a clicking on and off coming from the rear of the unit. With this customers description unplugged the unit and left for several minutes to see if it had any bearing on the start run device having an issue running correctly or not. After unplugging the unit and starting the unit back up again several times did not hear any of these noises that were explained. Was unable to reproduce these noises. Could see no obstructions in the freezer section or refrigerator section. With opening and closing doors was able to tell that the air is able to flow from refrigerator to freezer without issue. got behind the unit to ensure that there was nothing hitting the evaporator fan or clogging the drain. Found there to be water in the condensation tray. It was not much. Found the condenser fan to be working correctly and nothing out of place to be seen in the rear of the unit. Put about a cups worth of water into the drip tray to ensure that the heat loop was covered, no further suggestions at this time. Unable to replicate issues either."

"Found standing water within the units tub. Found and cleared light debris from within the units drain pump housing which may have been hindering proper drain pump function. Additionally, found the units drain hose laying flat within the adjacent sink base allowing discharge water to backflow into the dishwasher. Units drain hose repositioned and secured for a high loop drain preventing backflow. All unit tests and operations to include proper drainage check good upon completion of service. Customer to continue normal use of the unit and advise should further service be required.
