Customer was concerned that unit was off by 25? too cold. I preheated both top and bottom oven to 375. I let them cycle a minimum of four times each. Using my temp probe and meter I verified both temperatures at exactly 375?. I showed the customer in his users manual how to adjust temperatures in the future if it is needed. temperatures were perfect. Job complete.

"Got to this unit to find that the motor was turning, but not dispensing any ice out of the dispenser. With further testing found that the teeth from the top side of the motor and the bottom side of the ice bin were affected. Somehow these teeth had gotten damaged cause the inoperable dispenser. Was able to replace these parts and get the unit back working properly. Unit unit is now dispensing ice correctly. Job complete.

"Got back to this unit and tried to use the reprogramming tool to flash the computer still existing in this unit. Was able to get my tablet to hook up to it and was able to get the programming tool appear as though it was hooked up but when the software went to flash, the unit would not accept, and there was an error code given. Tried unhooking and restarting all devices involved multiple times Unit still would not take the new software kept saying error. Seemed like a communication issue to me, but unsure at this moment. Due to this installed new computer and user interface then tested. Unit ran through all testing without issue and seem to work without any further problems at all.ran a normal diagnostics test without issue then started and performed some tasks of a normal cycle. Stopped it after the unit filled and started washing and canceled out and drained. No further issues found at this time with this unit. Job complete."

Got back to this unit and installed parts that were ordered. Did find that when the shoot was pulled out the gaskets were not aligned properly to keep the moisture out from underneath the shoot. Believe this to be intern causing icing problems under the ice bin and complications for the ice bin to work effectively. After parts replacement check to ensure that this unit was providing crushed and cubed ice appropriately. Could find no reason why this unit was not working correctly moving forward. Job complete.

"Found standing water within the tub, unable to drain with 120VAC supplied to the drain pump motor. All water vacuumed from the unit at the discharge hose confirming unobstructed path for discharge water. With all water cleared unit ran through Drain & Spin cycle confirming proper operation of the drive motor and balance of the tub assembly at high speed spin. Drain failure preventing further operation due to a failed drain pump motor assembly. New drain pump motor needed to correct primary failure found. Due to cost and leadtime for repair the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Customer to advise.

Contacted Viking tech-support about issue with unit. Perform diagnostics at control to run self test mode. Per tech-support, fault codes were cleared when circuit breaker was turned off. After unit completed self test mode, no faults were being indicated at control. Unit working as designed at this time. Advised, Miss, plastic ware is extremely difficult to dry. Advise Miss to prop door open after cycle completion(1530 minutes) and to always confirm rinse aid in dispenser.

Got back to this unit and did more testing thought that the unit was beginning to drain better than with more testing found exactly the opposite. With the belief that we were about to change the drain pump started back into taking the unit back apart and decided to check a little bit further into the tub only to find two different bra inserts that were completely clogging the bottom of the drainwas almost 4 inches up into the bottom of the tub. After these parts were removed put the unit back through testing to find it to be draining. Extraordinarily well. No further issues found at this time job complete.

"Customer complaint some food items freezing in FF section. Connected unit using SmartHQ and found no recent/relevant fault codes pertaining to this issue. However I did find a software update that is supposed to resolve nuisance freezing and warming and has Improved cycling to create temperatures more accurate to set point. The unit had a FF fan and SUM module installed roughly 2.5 months ago, and the software version that GE provided on that module was not the most current, however, without SmartHQ we had no way of knowing this. So opposed to doing a part warranty on the module I have updated the unit today to most current version. After the update, all components are checking good and no faults found after diagnostic test. Mrs to monitor and advise."
