"Got to this unit and removed outer cabinet to inspect this unit during operation. Inspected unit before operating to look and see if any residue or remnants of water wasnt any places that could indicate the possible leak. However, did not see any evidence of large amounts or decent amount of water even leaving this unit. Drain pump and pressure hose are all intact. Ran the unit on several different water levels for several minutes during agitation to find no water leaks at all. Put the cabinet back on and tested again briefly to find the unit agitate fill and drain properly without issue. No further issues found. Job complete."

"Found evaporator iced up again. Before manually defrosting unit cleared ice out of the way enough to test defrost thermistor. Found that when encased in ice, it read about 8k ohms. Thermistor shouldve read about 28-30k ohms. Thermistor was testing good at room temp but not when cold. Control was thinking the unit was too warm to need to defrost. Replaced thermistor from truck stock and all operations test OK at this time. I did also get customer a file number. SR# 7738986813.

Using my thermocouple in the center of the oven cavity I monitored cycle temperatures and when set to 350F the average oven temperature is 348.83F. Found units cooling turned off from user interface apon arival... Turned back on and pulled fridge out and confirmed compressor is back on and feeling proper transfer threw the copper lines... vaccumed up hair in the back and cleaned van and than went back to the front of fridge and pulled off cover and found about a pillows worth of dog hair in the tracks and on the condenser coils... Cleaned that for customer and while doors open i can confirmed unit is now back to cooling so compressor may have over heated being choked out from the hair or someone in t he house hit the wrong button but whirlpool also had them flip the breaker a couple times so they may be part of cause.

"Needed to run a cycle so we could determine what the problem was. had the customer start a load and add detergent. Thats when I realize she was using too much detergent, therefore creating too much suds which made the weight of the clothes heavier and cause the spin cycle to shake a lot more. Advice customer shes only supposed to use no more than 2 to 3 tablespoons per cycle since the front loaders hardly give you any water to begin with. "Got to this unit to find that the icemaker had not deposited any ice into the bin. But had ice in it. Call the connection protector off of the side of the ice room and found that the connector was plugged in. Was unable to get icemaker to harvest at that time. Disconnected main harness to the icemaker and reconnected, after the reconnection immediately saw that the icemaker was responding and went through harvest cycle to deposit the ice into the bin as it should. After harvest confirmed water did make it back into the mold. Believe this unit to be moving ahead as soon as water is frozen. No further issues seen at this time. Job complete.

Prior to part installation a temporary fused jumper was installed for further testing. Found no fault error codes recorded in unit history. Unit ran through multiple diagnostic auto test cycles without fault. Confirmed amp draw at 1.5 amp or below until energizing the heater circuit which jumped to but did not pass 10 amps. New fuse kit installed and testing repeated. Again through multiple diagnostic auto test cycles to unit has continued to operate without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to continue normal use

Came to inspect unit a determine the seal system was a bit over charged with Freon ..therefore causing the process tube to freezer and the leak water. had to release some of it to a recovery bag. "Got to this unit to find that the ice bin had failed. Unit has been making ice properly, but had somehow been able to get a chunk of ice in there that it couldnt handle. Customer was using the icemaker in the unit not other ice or anything of that nature. This wouldve been due to a failure of the ice bin itself. This plastic that was broken on the ice bin was in the vicinity of the crushing tines. Replaced ice bin and confirmed operation. No further issues found at this time. Job complete."
