"Got back to this unit and installed new icemaker. On previous visit had turned icemaker off. However, original icemaker was still trying to harvest on arrival today. The motor was hot to the touch as well. After removal of this icemaker, installed new icemaker and saw the icemaker roll over, but did not indeed give any water. Due to this called the GE tech line to get in touch with them, and see about making this unit harvest. Was able to get this unit to harvest then by the end of the harvest did indeed receive water. After this, the only thing left to do is wait for the maker to do its job. If this problem continues or persist, we would probably be looking into the door control board for this unit. this is located on the top of the maker door. Customer to let us know how production is moving along."

"Got back to this unit and installed new icemaker also installed new paddle, which was malfunctioning for distributing water and ice. After these installations ran test found that the paddle is working properly and delivering water every time checked over icemaker and water delivery to maker. Found no issues with any of these items through diagnostics testing. If this unit is still not producing ice within 24 to 48 hours this customer is going to call us back And please send me back. I will have to call Tech line and get to the bottom of this issue. We cannot afford anybody else to drive this situation out any further. These customers are nice, but they are on the verge of not being.

"Found the unit disconnected from power on arrival. Power restored, unit initiated flood condition, drain pump energized, UI unresponsive in normal operation however, was able to enter into diagnostics. Further testing conducted prior to part installation. F3-E2 (Pressure System Fault) & F8-E3 (Overflow or Flood Condition) recorded multiple times in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Inspection conducted finding no visible component damage. Units pressure hose checks good and connections secure. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test finding the initial water fill cycle (listed as 60sec.) continuing operation for nearly 4min before again faulting out under F3-E2. New electric control installed. Diagnostic testing repeated and Rinse & Spin cycle ran through to drain & spin portion of cycle without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

Ask the customer what cycles that they were using found it to be one of the cycles where it was receiving hot and cold water was more than likely not receiving enough, the washer.
