Got to the unit to find that the condenser fan went running making contact with the cardboard piece underneath the unit. This is just an under cover for the unit. But for some reason it has folded and bunched up and was making contact with the blade of the condenser fan. due to the fact that this thing is bunched up and no longer in a shape that is going to go back into normal fashion. Will have to order this part and change out. "Go to the unit to find out the temperature sensors at rest were showing normal room temperature. Customer explains that the temperature would not recover after initial pre-heat. With testing found this exact issue to be the case. The unit was preheating to 350 got to 350 registered on the temperature sensors independently that it was 350. However, when the door was opened as though you were going to put food in, I release some of the temperature from the cavity on the upper oven, and when the door was shut, noticed 100° loss. After this with excess of 20 to 30 minutes unit would not recover to set temperature. Tried to increase calibration to increase temperature overall. This seem to actually have a lesser effect of making the temperature lower. Due to the fact, it is hard to rule out whether or not it is a temperature sensor issue or control. So ordering both to ensure fix customer also describes that the right front infinite switch will heat up and then no longer come back on. Due to this order in infinite switch to fix this issue. Tested line going thru the freezer door for frozen line, removed from the check valve and tested that way. No water came through tube. Indicating a frozen reservoir. Examined further. Ice cubes in bucket not normal size very small. Turned ice maker off to prevent a future frozen fill tube. Found slider for the freezer temp set to the coldest and fridge at ideal. No Fault Error code(s) recorded in unit history. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test finding excessive noise issue reported by the customer originating from the units drain pump motor. Confirmed no obstructions and/or debris within the sump assembly and/or drain pump motor housing. New drain pump motor supplied by pre-ID installed to correct. Unit again ran through complete diagnostic auto test without fault and/or noise issues. All unit operations to include sounds check good at time of service. Customer to advise.

"E-15 (Safety switch in base activated. Water in bottom of unit float switch). Unit uninstalled for inspection. Found standing water within the base pan confirming displayed fault. All water cleared allowing for operational testing. Unit ran through cycle testing in excess of 45min. Confirmed no water leaking from the sump assembly, wash pump motor, drain pump motor, inlet water valve, water case assembly, etc. Unit draining properly with good flow at the discharge. Throughout testing some water could be seen slowly migrating from the rear of the base assembly towards the front. Unable to positively identify the issue as only wicking of the rear batten insulation or worse off, an unseen compromised area of the tank assembly, which if found to be the case would deem the unit non-repairable. Original failure as found could also be the result of improper loading directing water to the front overflow port. Customer instructed on proper loading and advised to continue normal use of the unit. Customer to call for return service should operational failure and/or water leak reoccur. "I found that the convection fan shaft was slightly warped rubbing against the metal where it. transitions from the backside to the inside. I removed and replaced the fan motor assembly. Note the new fan motor came with an additional fan blade, which was permanently installed at the rear of the shaft, that blows air onto motor to keep the motor. Cool while in use. The previous fin motor did not have this. This is a new upgrade. Fan motor also came with new convection fan blade. All functions check OK. "Found small amount of ice forming around the sound dampener pad that was installed for noise issue previously. Dampener pad is retaining moisture and temperature causing the ice to form. Unit went into a defrost while I was here so I verified the defrost circuit is good. Repositioned def terminator to prolong defrost to help remove more ice around dampener pad, however I advised the ice around the pad is small enough where it should not create any problems with temperature. Customer is leaving town until October but will monitor when they return and advise. Transaction ID 519992."

"Got to the unit to find out from the customer that they had just received possession of the unit. Gave them some good information on what to look for in any future cleaning if necessary. Ran cleaning cycle with cleaner in it after changing water filter. Had establish that the unit seem to be working properly before these changes were made. Unit was receiving water under normal pressure and had lots of Minerals deposited everywhere in the unit. During cleaning cycle used nylon brush to clean up some of the inside mineral deposits. After approximately 20 to 30 minutes of run time, drained out the cleaner and proceeded to rinse the unit so that the customer would not have to do this. make sure to have the unit fairly clean. Once the unit had filled back, ran an additional cleaning cycle to ensure cleaner was gone after cycle. Unit looking good no further issues seen.
