Complaint Icemaker issues. I found that when the Icemaker filled it leaked into the ice bucket. I replaced the Icemaker with new part and tested ops. All ops and components tested good.

Found operational noise issue reported originating from the units idler pulley and right rear support roller. New dryer repair kit from truck stock install to correct. Unit ran through operational testing without fault. All unit operations to include sounds check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"Customer concerned that the unit was not cooling properly. Upon arrival, checked temperature in both compartments and got 6 degrees in the freezer and 39 degrees in the refrigerator section. Temperature are good. Customer has their own infrared laser thermometer that is not working correctly because it is reading 40 degrees in the freezer on frozen food. Customer is now aware that their device is not reading correctly and informed them to purchase a digital thermocouple to properly measure temperature. Customer stating that they manually defrosted the unit earlier this week, and the unit has been plugged in for about 48 hours now. Ran through all components in diagnostics (evaporator fans, thermistors, condenser fan, etc) and all are operating properly. Forced defrost on the freezer evaporator since bi metal is closed and verified defrost cycle working. Found no water leaking onto bottom section of the refrigerator section, indicating that there are no issues with the drain pan in the refrigerator section. Informed customer that with everything working properly today I wouldnt be able to properly diagnose the unit for issues. Only possible repair I can recommend would be to remove the thermistor clip within the refrigerator evaporator and install zip ties on it. Offered to perform this repair for them, aware that it would be just a guess considering that the unit is working properly at this time, and they declined. Informed customer that there is a 30 day service charge warranty on the charges for today. Informed them that if they notice any temperature discrepancies or ice buildup to please call us before manually defrosting so we can duplicate the issue.

"Found cold valve failing, wont fill with cold water or do a cold rinse intermittently. Replaced dual valve assembly and everything checks OK at this time.

"After inspecting unit, found probable high voltage board issue or control issues somewhere in the unit when looking up parts noticed most every part is discontinued, including all of the boards have been discontinued advised Mrs. of the situation, and she has decided to explore getting a new one.

"I removed and replaced the ordered parts. I ran a factory calibration and also a normal cycle and tested each function and checked for leaks and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

"Teste operations, found unit running 8 degrees hotter than the set point. Couldnt find any offset or calibration in owners manual or service manual. Advised cx to call whirlpool and download the app to calibrate.

Emptied unit and cleaned unit back to gain access to undercarriage. Found damaged wires on right corner and missing wires on left corner due to being ripped out. Notified Samsung about issue. Was advised unit is non-repairable.

Complaint no drain. I found that the knock out to the new garbage disposal was not knocked out. I tested the unit after correcting the situation and all ops and components ran good unit is now draining properly.

"Confirmed icemaker fill tube froze up again. Activated fill tube heater for two minutes. Then activated icemaker fill test. Confirmed good water flow. Call tech-support about issue with the unit and all repair procedures that have been performed. Per tech-support, all procedures available have been performed deeming this unit non-repairable. After taking off back panel and replacing new evap fan with harness i found the bi metal was barely holding on to the evaperator piping which could have been causimg the ice build up and also the inside has not been frosted sense i left so instaled new fan and fan blade and tested fan to sound quieter than the one before... Advised customer to monitor unit and call us back if noise returns

Found freezer rail offset readjusted freezer rail and confirm door sealing properly without impacting on anything confirmed unit operating properly. Job complete

Inspected unit and determine the terminal block shield ground Board was shorted out therefore causing a shock every so often. Per tech-support, when heat builds up inside unit, the cabinet micro flexes just enough to break. Magnetic door contact. Repaired mounting screw issue and advise customer to monitor unit."

"Removed refrigerator, evaporator, cover and found ice buildup on top and right side of evaporator only (photo attached). Spoke with tech-support (and sent photo) and was advised issue caused by air leak from evaporator cover not being installed properly. Was given Sr# 7738803743 for documentation. Manually steamed off all the ice buildup and installed new evaporator cover assembly. When reassembling unit, found a split gasket on the right side refrigerator door. (Photo attached). If issue returns in the next couple of months, next step would need to replace refrigerator door gasket.

Pressurize system with 140 pounds R600. Unable to locate any external leaks. Contact tech-support about issue. Was given Sr#7738808153 and advise to recharge system. Possibly unit got through assembly without being charge. Installed the dryer and recharge system. Advise Mr. to allow 24 hours before temperature back to normal.

Found no lights or display on arrival. Found power cord loose at receptacle. Reconnected unit to power and all components started and unit is cooling. All checks OK.

"Cx complaint: unit wont run a cycle. Fills and stops.Ran a diagnostic cycle, UI indicating that its going through all steps with no error codes, however the unit wasnt actually doing anything. Cut the power and accessed the main board. Found a loose harness connection and the Sump&motor connection. Secured the connection. Tested operations successfully. Unit operates as designed.

New door hinge installed. Adjustments made to the upper door hinges / wheel adjusters and foam tape applied between the FC door liner and gasket at the upper corner nearing the vertical mullion for proper door alignment and level. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"Found the unit set for cooling, at ambient temperature with no component operation, only interior lighting functional. Power cycle conducted. Upon restoring power unit components initiated operation with exception to the compressor which failed startup. Unit pulled for further testing, with the unit compartment exposed found the units compressor, sealed system tubing, floor pan, etc. compromised, heavily rusted and deteriorating. Additionally, found multiple areas of the unit exterior cabinet showing clear signs of prolonged condensation due to water saturation of the cabinet foam insulation. Multiple failures found are either non-repairable i.e. the cabinet insulation or have been discontinued by the manufacture and are NLA. Components that are still available will only address partial failure. No further repair action to be taken due to limited parts status and extent of component damages.

Found wires off pump reinstalled wires all ops test ok.

Installed valve all ops ok.

"Found unit DOA . Console would not respond to power on command via U.I interface . Preformed diag command entry and was successful . No error codes present , reset unit and was able to verify all unit ops good at this time. Power surge appears to be the culprit of the problem at this time"

Complaint no ice. I found that the fill tube was frozen with ice. There were no error codes for the Icemaker. I replaced the fill tube heater with new part and ran tests 57 and 45. Icemaker cycled and filled. Job complete.

"I removed and replaced the burner pan, which is located underneath all of the burners and also the front left burner. While there I also installed the customer supplied power cord. I then tested all functions and the unit now checks OK. Job complete."
