"Customer was concerned rinse cycle water was too warm, tested and verified hoses are connected correctly and during a rinse cycle the control is only sending voltage to open the cold valve, it is not mixing it with hot water. Advised customer rinse water will be the temperature of water coming from the cold tap from the house plumbing and cannot be adjusted from the washer. Also house is plumbed with PEX ran through attic, which increases water temperature on hot days. Also sold customer 2 stainless steel braided hoses per request. All checks OK at this time.

Go to the unit to hear from the customer that they would have water periodically on the floor in front of the unit. No other water leaks known. Customer stated that it typically happens every week to two weeks. This led me to believe that it to be a defrost issue. Got into the unit and saw some evidence of rust left behind from drain being clogged on the refrigerator section. Got behind the unit to find the drain hose to be clogged. Steamed this out and flushed with water. Made sure that the evaporator side was also allowing water through. After these checks put unit together and completed job.

Went through and ran diagnostics had the same error codes that popped up only because they were unable to be cleared. diagnostics ran through without any issues. Spoke with customer about that problem. With speaking with the customer determined that the issue was she was not realizing she had to wake the machine up and then hit start after making selections. Once the discrepancy was figured out, unit was working properly customer was able to make it work and function."
