"Complaint loud screaming. I found that the motor had black powder all over and that the gearcase had leaked oil over the cam assembly. I informed customers of my findings and gave them part numbers to give to whirlpool to see if they can get a parts Autho or full cover.

Tech checked unit and found debris stuck in filter of drain pump . Tech dissembled unit and cleared debris from unit . Reassembled and tested unit in diagnostic. All checks good

Install new parts with unit unplugged. After parts installed plug the unit back in and went over some of the things to look for with the customer. Customer is aware of waiting 24 to 48 hours for seeing actual temperatures. Job complete.

Got back to this unit and perform test that was previously spoke about with technician on Techline. Got behind this unit after recording temperatures on the front of the unit and remove the condenser fan plug to turn off condenser fan for approximately 10 minutes of compressor runtime. They expect to see a consistent temperature change across the mullion in question where we are seeing condensation. This area should have heated up consistently. As a result of this test found that the center of the Mullien strip was only increasing by 3 to 4?. Whereas the outside of the mullion strip was raising closer to 10 or 15? degrees. Due to this information whirlpool Tech line is sending this unit up for review. This is believed to be a non-repairable item. Gave customer SR number. It is the same SR number from previous bill.

I replaced the old gasket with new part and no more gaps customers will advise if frost comes back

I replaced the temp sensor and the control and the unit operated as designed and got up to the designated set temp with no faults or errors.

Found open heater assy removed and replaced advised to have vent cleaned all ops test ok 22.91 amps.

Replaced control and overlay. Unit is heating and all checks OK. Customer will monitor and advise.

Found duck bill drain clogged with debris causing both FC and RC drains to back up. Cleared and cleaned drains and all checks OK.

Found faulty fc evap fan motor therefore unit freezer would not go into a defrost cycle. Need part. Gave customer an estimate and he approved it. Installed new fc evap motor. Tested operation of the unit and it is now cooling properly. Job complete.

"SR#7738237187 spoke to Joe at tech line and advised him all weve done, the unit has a very slow drain coming out underneath. We believe there is either an obstruction or collapsed drain that we cannot get to. Joe had determined that there was nothing more we could do and advised I give the cust the sr number and for them to call their warranty company and give them the sr number with all the info stating that the drain is not accessible or repairable."

"Got back to this unit and talked with customer about dataloggers information that we received. Since this unit was so cold in the freezer believed it to be a good idea to go ahead and document and call Techline with the temperature information that we had reported. Call Tech line was asked to find temperature reading of the temperature sensor through the harness and individually at just the temperature sensor to find out if we had possibly a wiring harness issue. Went ahead and did the requested testing information found was that the temperature sensor was reading approximately seven ohms in a cup of ice water, whereas, when that same cup of ice water was hooked up to the sensor through the harness, checking temperature through the harness at the computer was given a number that the unit was different from the actual temperature sensor. Due to this information, the tech line is going to send this out for review. There is definitely a discrepancy between temperature sensor, register, and harness registering. technical support is going to call myself or the customer back to discuss further steps or information. Waiting on response at this point.

Found drain line clogged and shoved back. Reseated line and cleared drain all ops ok.

Installed new tube feed upper spray arm and confirmed unit now working like it should

Got back to this unit and uninstalled gear case. Installed new gear case and tested. Calibration went off without any issue. Ran automatic test as well. No further issues found at this time. Job complete.

Came to the house and determine the unit as not cold enough . Checked pressure and low side was on a vacuum- 23 which is too low. Recharged system up too -10 so it should be cold enough and good too go.

"Got to this unit to find that water not draining properly from the unit. Determine the drain pump filter to be clogged. Took the unit apart and remove the clog found in the drain. After removal, tested the unit to find it now properly draining after testing no further issues found at this time. Job complete Collected for service call and small amount of labor for diving into the unit.

"Complaint no heat. I found that the unit had proper voltage. The fuse and the heater checked good. But the thermal cut offs were blown, probably from the lint build up in the unit. I replaced their cut offs with new parts and unit started heating properly.

All initial unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to monitor and advise should further service be required. *Note: Labor charge reduced to reflect actual time needed to complete repair.

Made adjustment to the drain hose to get it out of the way of the door. Door is operating properly now. Job complete."

Installed new controller in unit through a few cycles error code for checking vent screens did not come up. Advise Mr. to run a cycle when he gets a chance and let us know if it fails.

Removed and replaced all burners returned old igniters along with the new set all ops test ok.
