Customer has a power problem. No power anywhere in the garage. Customer to call electrician.

"Found Icemaker stuck sideways, replaced part all ops ok.

New ice maker assembly and extension installed. Upon restoring power the ice maker initiated and completed harvest cycle to include proper water fill without fault and/or water leaks. Customer to monitor ice production and advise should further service be required.

Found and replaced faulty infinite switch for the front left burner. Confirmed proper operation

"Watched unit for 40 minutes and didnt see any leak, did see heavy suds in unit without me adding any soap. Cut down soap, filled and drained several times, advised affresh cleaning and to monitor. Soap suds may have caused leak based on what I saw."

Came to reinspected unit. After installing all these parts. Unit is still throwing out an F4 -E1 error. Called techline once again and they have redeeemd the unit unrepairable. There is nothing else we can replace. SR #7742258349. We can close ticket out. Job complete.

Checked unit surface rust on bottom edge. Informed cust on best way to get rid of it job complete

Got back to this unit and was able to install new drum. After installation of new drum tested operation. Saw that the drum itself has a slight imperfection to the roundness. But it is unclear at this time whether or not that will be an effect on the units performance. Was able to calibrate and check this unit on automatic test without issue. Customer is going to use this unit and let us know if we need to change any further parts.

"Got to this unit to hear from the customer that this lid is not latching correctly. Found in opening and closing that this lid latch was having issues aligning to the actual lid lock mechanism. Further investigation has found that the latch mechanism was indeed messed up, and the lid itself was also not aligning the latch correctly to the lid lock. Was able to give a slight bow to the metal of the lid. Once this was done. The latch was lining back up properly with the lid lock. Now the parts are falling into place as before the lid latch would sit on top of the mechanism without actually going inside of it to give a secure lock. Now that it is exhibiting proper behavior, ran calibration, automatic test, and could find no further issues at this time. Job complete.

"Found heavy corrosion and/or deterioration of the units wire harness, connections, components, housing, etc. Primary power supply line brake found and repaired however, no change in operation, no power supplied to the vent motor. Primary line brake found may or may not have shorted to ground compromising the units control, speed switch, vent motor, etc. Due to the units age at +20yrs most components have been discontinued by the manufacturer and are NLA. Due to the units condition as a result of age and environment multiple components and/or repairs will be needed. Cost to repair if possible based on limited parts availability will exceed unit value and replacement cost.

"Recall - Confirmed water supply issue has been resolved. Water dispenser is functioning properly, however no ice production. Verified both compartment temps check OK around 36F/0F and all fans are operational. During diagnostic testing found E2 Icemaker motor lost home position fault. "Got to this unit to hear from the customer the temperatures were not as what they used to be or what they should be. Speaking with the customer she was stating that the big cycle was taking several hours to even reach 200?. This is usually typical of a Faulty. Bake element was able to remove bottom plate check for this and indeed found that the heating element was indeed faulty, and in need of replacement. Also noticed that the unit was giving some odd behavior when opening and closing the door the light would intermittently come on, and if the unit was left alone, long enough, the light for the display would go out and then once you open the door of the oven, the light would come back on. Because of this check and found more error codes. One for the unit being miswired another four temperature sensor possible failure. This unit having multiple problems and discussed this with the customer. For just doing the bake element and temperature sensor alone it would push this unit out of the cost-effective range for the customer. Job complete."

Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the wash cycle was having issues completing. Further testing found error code F7E44 shifter not disengaging or re-engaging. Tested operation and found it to be having complications shifting correctly. Was able to remove rotor and find that the shifter ring was separating from the shifter itself and was able to exchange out this part so this could not happen any further. Tested operation and found unit now to be working correctly. No further issues found at this time

"Got to this unit to find that the icemaker was not responding to testing. There was also other parts and pieces of this unit that were not apparent to be working correctly. The ice room fan was not coming on as well as some other items that were intermittently working through testing.Spoke with a customer and had heard that they were redoing the powerlines in this area and they had been seeing a lot of power glitches happening constantly. Inform the customer that because of these power glitches, they may be running into the circumstances where the computer is getting somewhat scrambled from these powered glitches. Was able to find and locate the breaker for this unit and shut it down. After shutting down the unit for several minutes power the unit back up and found that all parts that were questionable were now indeed working correctly. also heard from the customer that the Moen strip on the left-hand refrigerator door was not operating correctly. The level of this unit had to be adjusted slightly so that this door was more aligned to use the track for the million strip to make it work and act correctly. After these items had all been adjusted, found this unit to now be in good standing. Unit should get back to normal operation and making ice within 24 hours or so. Job complete.

"With second tech we installed new gearcase washplate actuator and belt.. Put unit through regular testings and confirmed unit working like it should and advised customer to monitor unit and if any issues within the next 30 days and if any issues to contact the office

Got back to this unit was able to install new heater. After installation of heater tested operation and found unit to be working correctly. No further issues found job complete.

Got to this unit to find the basket assembly extremely bouncy. This correlates to the issue the customer is currently describing and having issues with. With suspension being extra extraordinarily loose this unit would not be able to complete cycles and would definitely have problems in the spin. Ran diagnostics and could not find or observe any other issues other than suspension issues no stored error codes to speak of or anything else. Was able to install new suspension. After doing so tested and found operation of this unit to be working correctly. Job complete.

Reset power to unit and confirmed working again. Advised Mr to download the Maytag app to run a software update

Installed new logic board. Set temperatures to recommended settings of 37? and 0?. Advised to monitor unit.

Diagnosed unit and determine the hot wire connection going from the main board to the door lock latch was faulty lose therefore not allowing he door lock to work and wouldnt allow a cycle to start. Found icemaker motor seized mid-harvest. Removed and replaced icemaker assembly. Verified proper cycle and fill. All checks OK at this time.

"New lower wash rack roller supports installed (Qty4). Customer to continue normal use of the unit and advise should further service be required.

"As reported, found the water reservoir overflow drain tube separated from the ice bin drain port. With the drain tube resting in ice the rubber tube had hardened preventing the customer from securing onto the drain port. Additionally, found sediment buildup in the left spinner nozzle miss directing water flow causing a continuous water leak into the ice bin causing ice produced to melt more rapidly and cavitation of the circulation pump later into ice production cycles. Water reservoir overflow drain tube heated allowing for secure reinstallation onto the ice bin drain port. All sediment cleared from the spinners restoring optimal spray pattern to the evaporator. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to monitor ice production and advise should further service be required."

"Customer reports a one-off FC no cool condition. Units RC temperature appeared unaffected. Since initial failure unit temperatures have recovered, matching set points of 0?F FC / 37?F or C, ice container filled to max level with solid and full sized ice cubes. Unit ran through full diagnostic testing finding and/or reporting no component failures. Original FC no cool condition likely do to a communication fault between the UI and HV controls since corrected. Customer instructed to monitor unit temperatures, ice production, etc. and advise should further service be required.

Found unit runs ok all ops and sounds test normal full spin called tech line sent video in advised no more parts to replace sr#7742353651.

Got to this unit to find error code for F4E3. This is faulty pump motor assembly. Was able to test and confirm that this indeed was the problem. Tested after installation of this part and found it to be working correctly. No further issues found job complete.

Got back to this unit and was able to install new Bake-N-Broil elements. Tested operation and found them to now be working correctly. No further issues found at this time. Job complete

"Performed cleaning on the unit, and also cleaned the condenser. Informed customer to dump first bin of ice before consuming. Job complete.

Perform full diagnostics and confirmed all components operating properly. I called GE tech-support about issue with unit and was advised to turn off pet hair options. Issue was causing the dry cycle to kick on early prevent preventing water from entering unit. Performed additional testing confirmed unit is getting proper water flow now. Job.

Installed new shaft and container. Performed short test and confirmed unit is properly dispensing crushed and cubed ice now. Job complete.

Comfirmed unit needed suspension rods so installed with one sent with me... I also found feet to be unlevel so i turned them all the way up so unit is now more sturdy.. I also removed washplate as customer thought maybe the basket was loose so i checked spanner nut and tightened it a little more and confirmed it is good.. Put unit into calibration and confirmed in high spin unit is working wonderful and customer is happy

Apon arrival i went into dio and found F6E3 code and from customer complaint i new than to check under unit where i found the bolt that holds rotor in place was barely hanging on .. From there i took some loc tite and resecured bolt and ran unit through regular opperations and than a high spin test where everything went as it should and the customer is happy everything is back to working like it should

Go back to this unit and was able to install new pump motor assembly. After the installation of this part tested operation of this unit. Found that this unit was able to pump wash and do the things that it was supposed to be doing initially. Also found that the heater indeed is now working.No further issues found at this time. Job complete.

Inspected unit and determine the led display is faulty.. its getting dimmer and dimmer and wont light up high. Unfortunately in order to fix the issue the main board will need to be replaced. Gave customer a rough estimate but he decline repair. He prefers to putchase new unit. Job complete.

Found faulty shutoff arm and extension therefore icemaker making too much ice and falling to the ground. Need parts. Installed new parts. Tested operation of the icemaker and it is now working properly. Job complete.

Install new UI PC board. Tested operation of the heater and unit and it is now working properly. Job complete.

Replaced defective UI. Was finally able to access ice maker tests in diagnostics. Ice maker cycled and filled successfully l advised cx to wait for ice to drop in a couple of hours and to call the office if no ice has dropped by tomorrow morning.

Found leak in cabinet with nitrogen and bubble soap. Whirlpool is putting into review job complete.
