We were able to get fridge moved over off the cabinet without changing gasket. The door is no longer binding. All ops ok.

Complaint gasket fell off. I found that outer gasket got pulled on and fell out of place off the dishwasher. The gasket is in good condition just needed to be reattached. All ops and components on the unit worked as designed job complete.

"I removed and replaced the clutch and slider. Then following the instructions outlined in Whirlpool service pointers W11498806 Rev C I started by replacing the user interface first, and allowing at least 6 to 8 minutes for the unit to copied the model number from the control panel into the new user interface. When I entered the unit into diagnostics it did not copy that information in. After trying and waiting I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Butch and informed him of all the things that I had tried and he had determined that at this point the unit is non-repairable. I even tried putting the original user to face on the unit and when I entered it into diagnostics, the model number did not copy into the system information. "Found unit had harvested three or four batches of ice since the last time I was out. Ill door switches past the a diagnostics test. I still went ahead and replaced the left door switch hoping for a resolution . Confirmed icemaker fill tube still getting 120 V, but the ice cubes that were in the bin were only half size. I ran a Icemaker fill test and found a two second delay before water started flowing. Appears as if there was a thin membrane of ice in the fill tube. I raised the freezer temperature from -1 to 0?. Advise Mr. to allow the weekend for ice production and call us back Monday with any issues.

Accessed drain pump and removed, found wine glass material inside the pump housing. Removed and tested and drain is a lot better, but still weak. Found that there is about 15-20ft of drain hose from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal and the pump is having a hard time getting the water out. Tried removing water line but will not fit onto the disposal. Drain hose is custom behind the cabinets and cannot access. Also found small water leak coming from one of the adapter fittings for the hose under the sink (check quick pics). Informed customer to contact a plumber/contractor to shorten the drain hose to as short as possible with this distance, and to fix the water leak. Customer understood.

Phone piece of metal inside making a loud sound. I removed that piece of metal. All functions now check OK. Job complete.

"When I arrived, the unit was completely nonresponsive. I tried starting a normal cycle, but nothing would happen. I was then able to enter the unit into diagnostics where I ran a factory calibration cycle. After the calibration cycle, the unit came back to life. "VERIFIED UNIT IS WITHIN MANUFACTURER WARRANTY WITH POP. REFER TO QUICK PICS. Customer concerned that the unit will thaw out at night and freezer during the day. Upon arrival, freezer temperature at 8 degrees but customer has no food in it. Checked evaporator and evaporator has full frost pattern. Entered diagnostics and checked all thermistors and they pass. Checked condenser fan and compressor and they both turn on. Evaporator fan turns on and runs strong. Damper door in refrigerator is operating properly and all door seals look good. Put unit 8th a defrost cycle and defrost heater is working. Performed reset on unit. Suspect that since the unit is empty it is having an issue maintaining temperature during defrost. Informed customer to put some items in the freezer and keep an eye on it. Found no issues at this time. Job complete.

"Got to the unit to confirm. Fault code D 26. I called tech-support about not being able to find D 26 fault code in text sheet. Tech-support states D fault codes are coin reader errors. Entered unit into diagnostics and reset controls. Enter dryer into test mode and confirmed dryer runs and heats properly. I dont have any quarters to test out the coin mechanism and unable to locate anybody with a key to the coin box. Protect support issue should be resolved . Was given Sr#7738163183 for documentation. If issue returns, coin, reader WPW10133242 will need to be ordered and replaced."

"Cx complaint: not enough water during cycle.Entered diag, found no error codes. Ran a diag test cycle successfully. Checked for error codes again and found none. Had the cx load the unit and start a cycle. Advised cx to adjust the settings within any given cycle to get the desired water levels (recommended max deep fill, max soils, and no extra power) Found unit operating as designed."

Replaced defective cold water valve. Ran a quick test to confirm operations. Unit operates as designed.

Cx complaint: frost build up on freezer ceiling. Found an air gap on the freezer gasket on the left side near the bottom. Heated the gasket and reshaped the seal. Advised cx to leave the freezer close for 45 minutes to let the gasket set. Advised cx to call back if frost up persists.

Removed and replaced igniter all ops test ok.

Got to the unit and replace parts that were ordered. Watch to see that the unit achieved a proper frost pattern before covering the evaporator back up. Had to relocate the temperature sensor to correct position and attached properly. Job complete.

"Got back to see slightly inconsistent temperatures. Found a bit of a gap between inner and outer cabinets on this unit. Due to this used adhesive to seal these up so that the unit can regulate temperature more efficiently. Believe this is part of the issue with the icemaker, not producing as fast as customer would norm see. Also gave customer information about how the door switch affects the productivity of this icemaker. Customer understood and going to make whatever actions necessary to try to help with the situation.

Got to this unit to find the vent restricted. Discuss with customer that the unit vent system needs to be cleaned to prevent excessive dry times and overpower consumption. Determine the ductwork to be the responsible factor here. Customer to get ductwork cleaned. Job complete.

"unit flashing U1e and 202 in display , compressor not running or fans , called tech support and controls are N.L.A. NO FIX"

"Upon arrival found the HMI consul unresponsive, no illumination, tone and/or function. Found only the drum interior light functional. Confirmed 240VAC properly supplied and standing at the units terminal block. Binary flash of the ACU processor LED checks good. Confirmed all HMI / ACU connections secure. Power cycle conducted after which HMI function was restored. F2-E2 (HMI Disconnected) & F2-E1 (HMI Stuck Button) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Advancement through diagnostic testing attempted however the HMI froze in process and failed to respond. Unable to advance and/or exit diagnostic program. Power cycle again conducted however, all attempts to initiate cycle operations continue to fail both in diagnostics and normal cycle selection(s). No less than a new HMI panel will be needed to correct primary failure found. Unable to conduct full component testing do the primary failure. Customer has been advised, additional component failures may exist. Customer will be contacting Maytag Customer Support in attempt to obtain Special Concession covering both Parts & Labor. "Upon arrival found the unit pulled from its original install position. Prior to calling for service the customer had confirmed proper water pressure supplied to the unit and both water supply hoses clear of obstruction. Customer had removed the water restrictor's from both the hot and cold inlet water valve assemblies in attempt to correct however, with no change. F8-E1 (No Fill, Slow Fill), F5-E2 (Lock Failure) & F0-E2 (Oversuds) recorded in your history, cleared prior to testing. Unit ran through manual load testing in diagnostics finding little to no water flow through the units number one cold water inlet valve solenoid. All other unit tests and operations check good through testing. New dual cold side inlet water valve supplied by the customer and single hot side inlet water valve supplied by pre-ID installed to correct. Unit ran through complete diagnostic testing now without fault and/or water leaks. All unit test and operations check good upon completion of repair. Customer to advise.

"Found intermittent illumination, tone and function of the HMI panel. Per the customer, following last service the unit had been fully functional through multiple wash cycles prior to unrelated electrical service repairs being conducted at the homes circuit breaker panel. Power to the unit cycled at the home circuit panel. After restoring power to the unit all operations had resumed as normal and without fault. Operational issue as found likely due to a communications fault generated during power interruptions. Customer to continue normal use of the unit and advise should further repair service be required."

Inspected unit and found no visible trace of dye unit is cooling properly and holding steady at 34? per the customer settings advised Mr. to call us back if unit fails

Installed new suspension rods and put unit into a deep fill and seen cam shield was still a inch or two inches from floor with no clothes so raised feet all the way up and made shims for front right peg and left back foot as there is a off balance of the floor and put unit into a high spin and confirmed unit working like it should and advised customer they will see more of a shake as the stabliazation is not the same as before

Tech replaced noisy valve . Tested unit all checks good

Tech checked unit and found ice stuck in flap of ice bucket . Tech removed obstruction. Tested unit all checks good.

Pulled unit out of wall checked power and no power on black side of incoming line. New boards needed for repair after cust gets power fixed by electrician customer will advise

Cx complaint: FC frosted over.Manually defrosted the freezer evap. Confirmed the defrost heater and thermistor check okay. Evidence of ambient air intrusion. Used HVAC tape to seal refrigerant lines and defrost drain line located at the back of the unit running up inside the cabinet. All operations check okay at this time.

Found and replaced faulty control

"Checked unit out, ran spin test with towel. No error recorded in diagnostics. Customer to record video if it happens again so a tech can hear it."

"Complaint no heat. I found that the unit had proper power, the fuse checked good. The heater was getting 240. But the heater coils were burnt apart. I replaced the heater and the unit started heating properly.

"Found suspension rods shot, spin basket with play in it, gearcase is leaking oil and shorted out the actuator. Would need extensive repair. Not worth repair."

Complaint spray arm fell of. I found that the spray arm was still intact and perfectly fine but was disconnected from the top rack.. I reconnected the spray arm and ran the unit in diagnostics. All ops and components ran good without faults or errors.

"Go back to this unit and could see frost developed right around the evaporator fan on the outside of the eval cover. Believe this to be an issue with the fan specifically one of the reasons I ordered it. Replace these parts and secured the freezer section thermostat securely to the evaporator, which it was not before. Also found temperature sensor in the diffuser to not be in the correct area as well. Multiple reasons why this unit may not have been performing properly. Tried to make fixes towards success for this unit. Will have to wait sometime for this unit to regulate and get back to normal temperatures.

Got to the unit and installed new water inlet valve. Tested and diagnostics and found all parts of the valve are working properly. Tested on a normal cycle to ensure proper fill and progression through the wash. Saw the unit fill on warm which would designate that both warm and cold valves are giving water at the same time. no error codes given no further issues found at this time. Job complete.

Came to inspect unit.. both the freezer and refrigerator compartment are cooling properly. Needed to just reset and erase the code which was never erased. Job complete.
