"Got this unit to find that it is a floating basket. This unit is meant to fill till the basket disengage is for the unit to agitate. Unfortunately, there must be some debris on the shaft not allowing this basket to float properly. Due to this, we are seeing a larger amount of water than normal on any given load. Did not find any error codes on this unit on arrival. Also tried to run calibration for the water pressure sensor. Ran this calibration to find no change in the units behavior. Let the customer know that this design is no longer manufactured and is quite expensive to repair. Customer is going to continue using the machine and start looking for another unit. Job complete."

Got to the unit to find that the previous adjusters had broken on both front wheels for support. Gave customer estimate for replacement of adjusters. Was approved by customer. Installed new parts and tested no further issues. Seen it this time. Collected for service parts and labor. Job complete.

"Found the units FC / RC door gaskets pulled away from the door liners at various locations allowing for warm air infiltration and light frost / moisture accumulation. Inspection has found a light tacky film along the full surface of both the FC / RC door gasket appearing to have been left through manufacturing which will cause a slight pulling the units door gaskets when doors are opened leading to issue as found over continued normal use. Confirmed no damage to either door gaskets and/or door liners. Customer instructed on Use & Care to include normal maintenance to prevent similar issues. Should issue persist, advise using dollops of approved silicone adhesive between the door liner and gaskets at corners and all points 6' to 8' inches apart. Customer to continue normal use and advise should further service be required."

"Upon arrival confirmed multiple frozen food items in refrigerator section. Performed diagnostic testing at controls and confirmed damper door opening and closing properly with no air leaks. Checked resistance of thermistors and found they are in proper range. Found previous tech had placed tape over the air, return vents under the crisper drawer. Advise customer. This could be the cause of her issue. Per Mrs. Jesus was the tech that did that and doesnt feel she should have to pay. I advise Miss no charge for today but if issue returns there will be a charge."

"No fault codes displayed. Unit ran through all heating cycle options confirming reported no heat condition. In addition, customer has also reported multiple occasions wherein the unit would initiate heating cycles without being selected by user. During that time the customer would turn off the home circuit breaker cutting power to the unit when not at the home. Verified 240VAC supplied. Meter testing conducted finding multiple component failures. Oven sensor well out of range: 2100 K ohms at ambient temperature, checked at the CN2 connection Pins 6 & 8. From the Dbl line break to corresponding relays confirmed continuity of the high limit thermal as well as the bake, broil and convection elements. Power testing conducted confirming only 120VAC of the required 240VAC out from the main control to any of the units heating elements. Primary failure do to a fault of the main control and the oven sensor. Replacement of the units high limit thermal also advised as it may have been thrown out of range due to over temp conditions. Additional component failures may exist to include but not limited to the UI keypad Console which may or may not be related to the reported self starting failure. *Note: Multiple component parts to include the UI keypad console, broiler element, etc. I've been discontinued by the manufacturer and are NLA. Power to the unit left off at the homes circuit breaker for safety. Quote listed is for estimate only. No parts to be ordered without customer authorization. Customer to advise.

I removed and replaced the pump and motor assembly. All functions now check OK. Job complete.

"Found the unit had not been converted for LP gas (as is supplied to the home) resulting in operational and sound issues reported. New LP conversion kit included with purchase of the unit installed to correct. All unit operations check good upon completion of conversion. Installed new pump and reset drain hose in stand pipe 6 inches down

Inspected unit with UV light found no traces of die after hooking up gauges found operating pressures at 1:50 and -20 called whirlpool tech line and reported to them, based off the presence of no die visible even under the connection point on the evaporator, they have sent this product for review pending exchange

"Found front left burner not receiving 120v from burner board. Would need board, cust opted not to repair due to age and cost."

"Following repair service by another service company, found the FC drawers had not been properly installed hindering drawer function and preventing seal between the FC door gasket and cabinet allowing for frost accumulation within the FC interior. No physical damage found throughout inspection. Units FC door and drawers uninstalled and all ice / frost accumulation cleared. All components properly installed and secured in position. All unit operations to include proper drawer function and door seal now check good. Customer to advise.

Found drain pump bad fins on impeller broke off replaced with truck stock ck ok

"Got to this unit and heard from the customer. Multiple issues with door lock. With testing found in diagnostics. Multiple error codes for the door. Lock failing. Also not recognizing door open or closed. No other error codes indicating to many other failures. However, in testing immediately heard the roar of the bearings coming from the Gearcase. Expressed concern to the customer due to this. Removed rotor to inspect the slider to ensure that it wasnt the slider making contact with the clutch making this noise. After inspecting parts could find no visible signs of wear. This reinforces that we are looking at the Gearcase has the issue. After running the numbers with the customer, they declined to have any repairs done to this unit at this time.

Tech checked unit and found a shorted board. Advised cust price of repair and they stated they will buy new.

A Frigidaire *Rear Panel Kit (PN: 5303918657) has been developed to address this issue however, is a means to slow progression, not a repair. Due to the units age and cost for installation of the Frigidaire recommend *Rear Panel Kit, the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time.

"Found refrigerator door, scraping against toe panel when opening and closing. Found refrigerator door was not properly shimmed. I placed the shim at the bottom of the door instead of at the top of the door. Now door has proper clearance for swinging open and closed. Job complete."

"Go to the unit to find no error codes presented. Ran automatic tests and could find no issues at this time. Ran a normal cycle with clothes in it. This was to determine the squeal or squeak that the unit had. Was unable to reproduce the noises that the customer has portrayed. Due to this, give the information to the customer of recording if this happens again on a phone or some device so that we have more information to go off of for trying to help fix this issue. Ran calibration as last portion went off without any issue. No issues found at this time. Job complete."

"Prior to service the customer had cleared the RC defrost drain effectively correcting the originally reported water leak issue. However, an issues pertaining to the ice maker exists. Customer states, the units ice maker previous installed in 2019 had originally worked without fault and/or water leaks for no less than six months or before a large ice mass had developed originating from the ice maker water fill tube locking the ice bin and all shelves below in position. After initial failure the customer had turned off ice production and has not a resumed ice maker operation sinse. Inspection has found the ice maker water fill cup and all ice cubes segments clear of ice and/or obstruction. Found the ice maker water fill cup water deflector has moved from the seated position at right to the front of the water fill cup. Issue had originally occurred when low water pressure issues were present with the original RO water system. Original failure likely caused by low water pressure which had failed to seat the inlet water valve allowing for continuous water flow before the valve had eventually been able to close. The homes RO water system has since been replaced with a new unit. Ice maker water deflector reinstalled in position and ice maker completed harvest cycle without fault and/or water leaks. Customer to monitor advise should further service be required.

Inspected unit and determine the drain pan in the RC evap was frozen with ice therefore leaking water in the refrigerator. Defrosted all the ice from the evap coil and cover and drain pan. Cleared also the Ptrap and is is now draining properly. Job complete.
