"Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the icemaker had not been producing. Also found the items in the freezer were thawing out. Unit had a frost pattern on the evaporator, but the unit was not cooling properly due to the evaporator fan failure. Was able to replace evaporator fan and get the unit back together after doing so tested operation of this fan and found it to be working correctly. Unit is now working correctly. We need to give unit 24 hours to get back to normal temperatures and more than likely 48 hours for normal ice production. Job complete.

"Checked for issue draining. Found entire washer and drain system severely clogged with down feathers from a pillow customer washed. Had to disassemble and put back together several times to get system unclogged, water above height of door and not able to suck out due to clog, had to release water and clean up water until empty, then take off drain line and clear feathers, took apart pump and pump housing after filling and draining 3 times, put back together and tested! Drain system is running properly at this time. Advised customer no more pillows in washer machines. Stuffing causes major issues like this one. Also advised may still see a few feathers in drum from time to time, but will eventually go away during use. Unit is running properly at this time.

Installed new fan motor and control still had issues inspected harness and found that the blue pen on the fan. Motor connection was loose pulled harness and fixed connection reattached fan motor and confirmed unit operating properly at this time consistently as well.

"Go back to this unit and was able to install new control board. When pulling this unit apart to exchange control boards due to relay issues suspected. Also noticed that this control board had no ground wire from the chassis. Because of the odd noises that we have been hearing from this unit wanted to make sure that this was not a problem for moving forward. Was able to make a ground wire to go from the normal place on the cabinet to the backing plate of the control board. Tested operation of this unit after doing the repair. Heard the normal clicking that you would normally get as the unit starts up, but no clicking afterwards or extended clicking as what the customer was experiencing previously. Unit appears to be working and definitely is heating. Job complete.

"Customer concerned that the unit is not washing properly. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, checked error codes and found error for inlet water temperature. Tested inlet thermistor after filling with 120-130 degree water and the thermistor is reading 111k ohms. With this temperature, the resistance should read closer to 20k ohms. Unit has a failed inlet thermistor. Installed new valve assembly from truck stock, tested and calibrated unit, all ops good. Job complete.

Found some buildup in flow meter that may restrict, but due to intermittent issue was unable to completely pinpoint diagnosis, really feel issue is in flow meter, but could have an issue in valve as well.
