"Unable to detect any trace of reported electrical burning odor. Customer states, odor was somewhat faint, only noticed for a short time, was not noticed inside the refrigerator and could not be positively confirmed that it had been originating from the refrigerator. Customer had recently installed a surge suppressor at the refrigerator electrical outlet. Surge suppressor was found to be warm to the touch and may or may not have been the origin of reported electrical burning odor. Surge suppressor removed to rule out the suppressor as a possible source. All unit tests, operations and temperatures check good with exception to recently installed ice maker which again reports E2 (Lost Position) and had failed to produce ice over the last three days. Units ice maker ran through and completed harvest cycle test without fault. Icemaker water fill test initiated. Units isolation valve / dual inlet water valve could be heard energized with no water flow. Facia / ice maker water fill tube heater test performed confirming proper voltage supplied. Heater test left in operation estimated five minutes thawing ice blockage within the water fill tube restoring water flow to the ice maker. Power cycle conducted following end of testing.
