"Got to the unit to find that when plugged in the compressor and or start run device was making a loud ticking type vibration. Swapped out start run device to ensure that it was not start run device being heard. Compressor started up and ran started to see a temperature drop. However, once the unit was unplugged to swap cord placement. The compressor went right back to making a very loud Noise from compressor not a good noise at all. Ordering compressor and couplings to make this unit good again. However, found the thermistor for the evaporator had fallen off of its position when trying to readjust metal clip found metal clip broke. Not allowing for adjustment. "Got back to the unit to find the freezer data logger recording at 19°. Pull the refrigerator side out to find it recording at 35°. With these number seen seems as though the icemaker is not producing very much but is producing due to slightly higher temperatures than what is desires. With that information Turn the temperature of the unit down slightly the next setting. And slid the selector over to colder for the freezer section from the refrigerator side to help facilitate colder temperatures in the freezer section. This should allow the unit to start producing ice on a more regular basis for the customer. At this time believe the unit to be cooling and working properly, but time will tell with the customer."
