Got to this unit to find that the bottom door seal of the refrigerator section was pulled away from the cabinet. Was able to correct this with some heat from the heat gun to relax the door gasket. Once the door gasket was relaxed. Fill the void that it needed to to create a proper seal. Unit is now sealing no further issues seen.

Got to the unit to find temperature in the fridge raider 48 to 52°. Found temperature in freezer to be around 35°. Started looking for a frost pattern to see none. Then saw the ground ice cube where the evaporator meets the capillary tube. This was a dead giveaway that the unit is low on Freon. And would need a sealed system tech to continue service. Gave this information to the customer and was told that it was not going to be cost-effective for them. Collected for the service call. Job complete.

"Got to the unit to find that the icemaker level arm had come out of its seat. This had not allowed the unit to know the ice level in the bin. However, found that the maker when activated did all of the normal functions. Did see what looked to be may be a blockage in the back where the water comes in. But when water came in, saw the low pressure and found also low pressure at the dispenser. Removed water filter to find pressure restored. No reason to believe that this unit wont start to make ice at this time. Mold filled up completely even with low pressure. Inform customer of what to look for. But at this time did not see any reason to order or replace icemaker. Collected for service call"

Vacuum system down and re-charged with 68 g of R600A confirmed unit began cooling

"Found unit temperature set to 0°F. FC / 37°F RC. Running temperatures displayed at the UI: 12°F FC / 38°F RC. Actual operating temperatures at 17.3°F FC / 47.1°F RC. Found incomplete frost pattern of the evaporator. Units sealed system running in a 2 inch vacuum. Units evaporator and condenser fan motors running at speed with good airflow. Sealed system service had recently been conducted within the last three months by another servicer wherein a new compressor, evaporator and generic dryer (without UV dye) had been installed (as well as a new ice maker, unrelated to current cooling condition). Units heat exchanger and pan heater were not inspected and/or replaced. Customer had shown receipt for prior work conducted and was charged in excess of $3,000.00 for the repair. Receipt clearly lists extended warranty for sealed system service. Customer advised, Brandts Appliance Service cannot warrantee parts, work performed and/or labor conducted by another servicer. Should customer opt to advance with sealed system repair through Brandts Appliance Service, a complete sealed system replacement would need to be conducted to obtain full service & part warranties. Customer is also reporting an intermittent issue wherein the unit appears to stop running cooling operations for up to 1-1.5 days before resuming cooling. Intermittent issue reported may or may not be related to prior service performed. Unable to duplicate at time of service. Due to high cost investment through the prior servicer the customer has opted to first pursue repair through the original servicers warranty. Customer will advise should further services be needed. Found ceiling had fell and needed to be poped back in and then customer showed me the sliding drawer kept sliding forward when you pushed it back so after leveling unit like it needed to be that resolved that issue

"Upon arrival, the customer had presented videos showing the unit in various states of failure i.e. no UI touch response, failure to start, continuous high speed spin, etc. No fault error codes recorded in unit history. Unit ran through complete auto test in diagnostics without fault, water leaks and/or abnormal sounds. Multiple wash options selected, initiated and canceled without issue. No component damage is found throughout inspection. Unable to duplicate operational failure. "New drive motor, run capacitor and lower wire harness installed. Unit initiated diagnostic auto test finding the unit faulting out under F9-E1 (Long Drain Fault). After speaking with the customer found displayed fault to have been the original fault reported. Customer does not recall any other faults displayed. Unable to obtain prior service information and testing results from the original servicer. Confirmed the units pressure dome, pressure hose and the controls pressure sensor receiver port all clear of debris and/or obstructions. 120VAC supplied, properly polarized and grounded. Additional diagnostic and normal cycle operation testing conducted without change. Unit continues to fault out under F9-E1 within 10sec - <1min of initiating cycle. Pre-diagnosed failure appears to have been a miss based on an active service pointer attached with this units model. Primary failure appears to be due to an out of range pressure sensor within the units electronic control. Installation of a new lid latch assembly also advised due two functional issues found through testing.
