"Per the customer, intermittently when attempting to start cycle the units Spin & Lid Lock indicators will begin flashing with continuous tone, lid will remain locked in the closed position. Once the fault condition has occurred it cannot be canceled at the UI panel. Power to the unit must be cycled, sometimes multiple times before resuming normal UI function. Unit initiated, exited and repeated multiple wash cycles of varying wash cycle options. Unable to duplicate intermittent failure unless fault condition had been purposefully and manually reproduced i.e. attempting to start cycle with the lid up or slightly lifting the lid partially disengaging the lid strike from the lid latch assembly during cycle operation. Both manually created fault conditions produced displayed conditions and tones as reported by the customer.
