"Found due to normal use and excessive angle at the weakest articulating point, the units 5/16 inch water supply line into the FC door has split nearing the lower guide chase resulting in reported water leak when actuating the water dispenser. This units FC door harness and dispenser water fill tube are a foamed-in assembly and are a non-serviceable component(s) requiring installation of a new complete FC door assembly to restore to original condition and function. Due to high cost of the FC door replacement, the customer has authorized more cost effective modifications in attempt to restore proper water dispensing while at least temporary eliminating further water leaks and/or damage to adjoining wooden cabinetry. Customer has been advised, should failure reoccur, a new FC complete door assembly installation will be needed or the water dispenser actuator pad be disabled to prevent continuing water leaks and/or damage. "Through diagnostic testing found minor intermittent RC freezing issue appears more that due to product placement than component failure, customer advised. As reported by the customer, found little to no water flow at the units dispenser as well as poor / slow ice production. Confirmed good water pressure from the home supply. With the units water tube from the isolation valve to the water filter housing removed, found the valve energized with only 70VAC, as found at the dispenser with little to no water flow through the valve. Confirmed at the HV control between P3-4 to P1-2, 120VAC supplied with the water dispenser pad actuated. Primary failure due to a faulty diode of the units compartment wire harness. New wire harness needed to correct primary failure. New isolation valve not yet received to have on hand should original be found faulty through further testing following installation of the new wire harness.; ordrng 1 W11614808 (Harness)"
