"Sr# 7742091474 got back to this unit and installed all parts except for the thermostat kit for the freezer. This was not compromised nor was there any indication that it was a problem. After installation of all the parts in the freezer did indeed find some foam underneath the heating element from either the initial installation or build of this unit. was able to remove this foam as much as possible some of it was stuck to the bottom of the drip pan in which case it had to be scraped off. Use some water to help rinse this down into the condensation pan to keep it away from this heating element as much as possible. after this, got the unit back together with new slides controls, and all. Plug the unit back in and found our new evaporator fan to be working correctly and the unit to be cooling. Unit should be back in normal working order within 24 to 48 hours. also called into Tech line to get this reported since we have been experiencing the odd smell in this unit for more than just one or two visits. Believe that by removing the foam here today and the other repair is done. This unit should be on its way to being so-called normal. Job complete.

"New control box installed. Found the units FC door switch and harness encapsulated and locked in expanding foam insulation. During removal of the FC light switch the wire harness connection within the cabinet had been unavoidably damaged. Power to the unit restored for testing of cooling operations. On start up the units compressor initiated operation, UI control illumination and function restored. However, no evaporator fan motor operation, no condenser fan motor operation. Following start up a hissing sound could be heard originating from the area of the evaporator. Evaporator cover removed finding the defrost heater had previously blown out rupturing the evaporator. Hissing sound the result of compressed air escaping the evaporator. Daniel with Whirlpool T/L advised on unit history and current status. Unit has been deemed under non-repairable status. Report with pictures of component damage and manufacture defect documented under Whirlpool SR# 7742091369. Tammy with AIG advise on non-repairable status, documented under SR# 7742023146. All information has been submitted to the AIG Resolution Team for review. AIG will be contacting the customer directly within 2-3 business days to advise.

Safety Team SR7742050020 Apon arrival i confirmed dryers timer not working i went to back of the dryer and was going to install new one when i found the timer wire unplugged... I than set unit on a time and ran dryer for about 20 minutes and confirmed the timer working... I than turned it to off and and than back a Qaurter inch and let it run til it cycled off.. Unit is now back t o working like it should
