Found operational issues reported due to a faulty / degrading lower drawer main control preventing changing of cycle settings. Additionally found drawer position read errors (false open drawer conditions) the result of a related control fault and/or misalignment between the units control emitter, prism and/or receiver. Alignment issue may or may not be partially due to warping or damage of the drawer assembly control receiver. No less than a new lower drawer control will be needed to correct primary failure. Got to this unit and was able to take apart various parts and find that the gear case had been leaking oil. This oil leaking had gotten down into the rotor and was noticeable there for sure. Got the unit unit apart and found there to be no issues with the wash basket. Replace the gear case and slider that were ordered. Did not use agitator since the original one came off without issue after getting the unit back together ran multiple test and calibration to confirm operation. During test did not notice any out of the ordinary behavior or sounds. Job complete.

"Got to this unit to find that the icemaker was not working at all. Remove the cover to expose the icemaker and found multiple chunks of ice stuck in the maker and had wedged it to where the unit could not work. After the debris was removed ran a test on the icemaker and found that it only made approximately halfway through the cycle and froze up and stopped. Was not able to get this icemaker to, wake back up or any further functions. Customer estimate for a new icemaker at this point and was approved. After replacing icemaker, tested the unit and found unit to run through harvest without issue and also deliver water at the end of the cycle. Unit should be ready to ice from here forward Sensors and other items that were checked all checked good. Job complete.

Go to this unit to discover that the freezer section had some temperature refrigerator was sitting at 62. Unit was not sharing the cold from the freezer to the refrigerator due to the faulty fan. Replace the fan and tested. The unit was not sending full power. This intern was making it to where the fan was not working at all. Was able to get in the unit and replace the high voltage board that was sent with and further testing. Found this to be the resolve to the issue. No further issues found at this time. Unit is back to cooling properly.

Found wire had ripped out so installing new one i gave unit plenty of slack now and also advised customer the amount of clothes that should be loaded to avoid heavy load that could be pulling wire out but tested unit and watched in spin and made sure there was no drag on wires.

Diagnosed unit and determine the left door hinge was faulty lose therefore not allowing the door to close and seal all the way losing temperature. Repaired problem by reinstalling the the door hinge tightly and securely. Door is now sealing all the way. Unit is now heating properly. Job complete.

"Subzero T/L advised on unit history and current status prior to new part installation. Philip with T/L has agreed and instructed the next course of action to be the installation of both the new main control and user interface simultaneously in attempt to restore proper unit function. Found FF section not cooling. Compartment was around 45F. Verified FF evaporator had a good full frost pattern but was not iced over. Unit not cooling due to inoperable fan motor. Replaced fan motor and Evap cover assembly. Unit is on and cooling and all checks OK.
