Found defrost heater open causing Evap to ice up. Defrosted unit and replaced heater assembly from truck stock. All checks OK at this time.

Found one of the two mounting bracket screws missing allowing partial movement of the unit when opening or closing the door causing the front adjusting legs to move overtime ultimately resulting in misalignment. SR7737665783; As i installed new encoder control and main control they unit presented a fault code that would not provide before the electrical problem that was short in the main harness and lower harness damaged everything electrical from a bad ground now i have F3E3 tempature fault tested unit in quick wash with tap cold and unit shut down all lights and everything half way... Called techline and we found the outlet behind washer is shorting out from 15.volts to board to 120v at times causing the problems as we tested unit with a cord from across the room and confirmed it going through all tests

Go back to the unit to install new wash pump assembly. Removed old pump and installed new. Tested unit function and found no issues at this time. Job complete.

Complaint no power and lid locked. I found that the lid lock had no resistance to it and the main control was not responsive. Drain pump read 19 ohms so drain pump is good. Unit would need a main control and a lid lock I quoted the customer. They opted to get a new unit.

"F3 E1 (Water Level System Error) & F8-E3 (Overflow Condition) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Per the customer, failure tends to occur on the 1st wash load only. After initial failure all following wash cycles resume and complete without issue. Confirmed the units pressure dome and pressure hose clear of debris and/or obstruction. All pressure connections secure with no damage found. Harness connection between the pressure sensor and ACU check good and pass continuity testing. Unit ran through complete auto test finding and/or reporting no component failures, no signs of over suds conditions. Unable to positively confirm component failure at time of service as all tests have passed without fault. However, per recorded faults and customer description of failure, issue most closely describes a failing or out of range pressure sensor. New pressure sensor installed as a first attempt to correct. Customer will continue normal use of the unit and advise should further repair service be needed.

"Unit running in cooling operations however, per the customer, unit temperatures have maintained between high 40?F to low 50?F over the past 48hrs. Confirmed both the evaporator and condenser fan motors operating at speed however, found the condenser heavily matted blocking all airflow preventing dissipation of heat as needed for proper cooling. Found an ice ball into the evaporator, with minimal frost pattern beyond, may or may not have been caused by the matted condenser issue. Units sealed system operating at positive pressure, not a vacuum. Before advancing with further service the customer has opted to remove the unit from power for 24-36hrs allowing ice accumulation to thaw. The customer will then return the unit to power, monitor and advise should further repair service be required.

Upon arrival found unit frosting over slightly removed evaporator cover and checked heater. Wires confirm heater wires are good ohmed out thermistor and confirmed thermistor was within range and responding to temperature change based off images. Ran unit into defrost and confirmed defrost heater operating properly and getting hot replaced main control to try to correct issue. Advise Mr. air to monitor unit and call us back if he has any problems.

Found bad gearcase and rods also basket bad customer to replace unit.

Removed water from bottom Trey tested unit ok no more error and did not find any leaks.

Found Teflon flaking off by module allowing water to leak through. Replaced Icemaker all ops ok.

"No fault error codes recorded in unit history. Inspection conducted finding the units suspension system heavily worn resulting in out of balance load conditions and preventing entry into high speed spin. No other physical damage found throughout inspection. New suspension kit supplied by pre-ID installed to correct. "Found the unit had not been converted for LP gas (as is supplied to the home) resulting in operational and sound issues reported. New LP conversion kit included with purchase of the unit installed to correct. All unit operations check good upon completion of conversion. Customer to advise. *Note: LP gas conversion is not covered under the Whirlpool Warranty.

I removed and replaced the pump and motor assembly. All functions now check OK. Job complete.

"No fault codes displayed. Unit ran through all heating cycle options confirming reported no heat condition. In addition, customer has also reported multiple occasions wherein the unit would initiate heating cycles without being selected by user. During that time the customer would turn off the home circuit breaker cutting power to the unit when not at the home. Verified 240VAC supplied. Meter testing conducted finding multiple component failures. Oven sensor well out of range: 2100 K ohms at ambient temperature, checked at the CN2 connection Pins 6 & 8. From the Dbl line break to corresponding relays confirmed continuity of the high limit thermal as well as the bake, broil and convection elements. Power testing conducted confirming only 120VAC of the required 240VAC out from the main control to any of the units heating elements. Primary failure do to a fault of the main control and the oven sensor. Replacement of the units high limit thermal also advised as it may have been thrown out of range due to over temp conditions. Additional component failures may exist to include but not limited to the UI keypad Console which may or may not be related to the reported self starting failure. *Note: Multiple component parts to include the UI keypad console, broiler element, etc. I've been discontinued by the manufacturer and are NLA. Power to the unit left off at the homes circuit breaker for safety. Quote listed is for estimate only. No parts to be ordered without customer authorization. Customer to advise.

"Upon arrival confirmed multiple frozen food items in refrigerator section. Performed diagnostic testing at controls and confirmed damper door opening and closing properly with no air leaks. Checked resistance of thermistors and found they are in proper range. Found previous tech had placed tape over the air, return vents under the crisper drawer. Advise customer. This could be the cause of her issue. Per Mrs. Jesus was the tech that did that and doesnt feel she should have to pay. I advise Miss no charge for today but if issue returns there will be a charge."

"Found the units FC / RC door gaskets pulled away from the door liners at various locations allowing for warm air infiltration and light frost / moisture accumulation. Inspection has found a light tacky film along the full surface of both the FC / RC door gasket appearing to have been left through manufacturing which will cause a slight pulling the units door gaskets when doors are opened leading to issue as found over continued normal use. Confirmed no damage to either door gaskets and/or door liners. Customer instructed on Use & Care to include normal maintenance to prevent similar issues. Should issue persist, advise using dollops of approved silicone adhesive between the door liner and gaskets at corners and all points 6' to 8' inches apart. Customer to continue normal use and advise should further service be required."
