Complaint unit is making loud noise and not cooling. Went into diagnostics test 3 to find that the Evap fan motor was making that loud noise. Found that the Evaporator was not frosted up and had just came out of defrost. Had to reposition the Evap fan motor due to it being positioned awkwardly. "LF / F8-E1 (Long Fill), F5-E2 ( Door Lock Error), F9-E2 (Pump Drive System Error), F6-E1 (Serial Communication Error) recorded in unit history. Initial inspection has found the units rubber door bellow hardened and contacting the unit spin basket resulting in friction and resistance through cycle operation. Found only minor obstructions i.e. a few coins within the drain bellow and drain pump filter catch. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test finding intermittent drain pump motor function with excessive vibration resulting in excessive noise issues. No less than a new door bellow and drain pump assembly would be needed to correct. Due to recorded faults and customers description of failure, additional component failures may exist i.e. MCU, ACU, ect. Some parts of which have been discontinued and are NLA. Due to the units age, condition and cost of repair. The customer has opted not to advance with repair service at this time. Customer to advise. Quote listed is for estimate only. No parts to be ordered without customer authorization. Customer to advise.

"Initial inspection has found no component failures and/or damages. Units spin basket secure, no wobble. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test finding the reported noise issue occurring through high speed spin only. Not related to the rear tub bearing. Further inspection has found a metal underwire trapped between the spin basket and outer tub assembly. Units heater element removed allowing for access and removal of the obstruction. Unit again ran through diagnostic auto test now without fault. Confirmed no water leaks. All unit operations to include sounds check good at time of service. Customer to advise.

Go back to the unit. Replaced boards that were ordered while power turned off. Replace boards and user interface. Plug the unit back in and checked over. Ensure temperatures are set proper points. No further testing at this time. All functions appear to be working properly time will tell.

Recall - found water dripping over reservoir and out of recirc tube which was causing ice to melt in bin and causing unit to loose its water prematurely. Adjusted bracket and hose and leaking stopped. Sat and watched unit make and harvest a batch of cubes which look good. All checks OK.
