"Customer concerned that the unit is stuck in a drain cycle and a cycle cannot be started. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, held start/cancel button down for 10 seconds and the unit shut off. Checked error codes and found no codes. Ran unit on an automatic cycle and monitored, unit passed and all functions are working. Performed calibration on the unit. Educated customer on the clean washer cycle, detergent usage, settings, etc. Found no further issues at this time, suspect unit has an off balance load and got stuck in a lock out. Reset and calibrated, all good to go.

"Per the customer, a steady flowing stream of water had been found leaking from the water filter housing. Customer had engaged, disengaged and reengaged the water filter without change. Customer had then turned off the water supply to the unit to stop the water leak from continuing. Physical inspection has found no obvious damage to the water manifold and/or water filter. Confirmed the customer is using the manufacture recommended filter. Water supply restored to the unit for testing. Several quarts of water dispensed from the units dispenser without fault and/or water leaks. Units water filter uninstalled and reinstalled without change. Unable to duplicate reported water leak condition. All unit operations check good at time of service. Per units current operational status the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time but will monitor and advise should future service be required.

"Found the unit set for cooling, at ambient temperature with no component operation, only interior lighting functional. Power cycle conducted. Upon restoring power unit components initiated operation with exception to the compressor which failed startup. Unit pulled for further testing, with the unit compartment exposed found the units compressor, sealed system tubing, floor pan, etc. compromised, heavily rusted and deteriorating. Additionally, found multiple areas of the unit exterior cabinet showing clear signs of prolonged condensation due to water saturation of the cabinet foam insulation. Multiple failures found are either non-repairable i.e. the cabinet insulation or have been discontinued by the manufacture and are NLA. Components that are still available will only address partial failure. No further repair action to be taken due to limited parts status and extent of component damages.

"Go to the unit and got down to the blower fan wheel. Had to drill into the blower wheel to remove off of the old cleat since it was spinning on the motor shaft. Once the cleat was removed, was able to reinstall new fan and ran some testing after getting the unit back together. This unit is now working properly significant difference in the amount of air being moved by the fan. Customer should not have any further issues with this unit venting unless there is a restriction or clog."

"Sr# 7738718132 pressurized system with 140 pound nitrogen. Found refrigerant leaking from evaporator outlet. Lokring connection. (Photo attached) after multiple unsuccessful attempts to correct issue tubing became too short to reconnect. I called tech-support about issue with unit and was advised unit is non-repairable. Was given, SR number 7738718132 for documentation. I notified the realty company about tenant not having a refrigerator now. Advised, realtor, whirlpool will be getting in contact in the next few days. I also gave the realtor, the SR number and advised to contact Whirlpool for further steps.

Inspected unit and determine the float switch had came of its slot because of debri underneath therefore it would not allow the unit to receive or start a cycle. Repaired problem by removing the debri and reattaching the float switch. Also rerouted the drain hose to the disposal so it wont have syphening problems. Unit is now working properly. Job complete.
