"Got to this unit and put the unit into diagnostics. I wanted to hear from myself exactly what was going on with this unit as the rotor was moving around you could hear it tapping against something. Was able to pull down the rotor and stater and found that the clutch was being rubbed upon because part of the stater was broken. It was not allowing it to hold the clutch in a solid position And the clutch was making contact with the slider. Changed out all these parts with the exception of the control board and tested. Unit went through all parts of the cycle without any noises. Unit is now working correctly job complete ran calibration, automatic test and started a normal cycle to show the customer water levels all worked correctly no further issues.; dspstn on spec-tagged invntry: 1 W10734521 SLIDER and 1 W10754448 CLUTCH"

"Unit ran through manual load testing in diagnostics finding little to no water flow to the water reservoir during water fill cycle. Units water filter removed finding significant increase in water pressure. Diagnostic testing continued finding no other component failures. This home is equipped with a whole home water filtration system rendering the units disposable water filter redundant and unnecessary. Customer has opted to omit use of the units optional water filter. Customer will monitor unit operations, ice production, etc. and advise should further service be required.

Initial inspection has found all connections secure with no damage to the wire harness found. Continuity check of the heater circuit checks good. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test and initial Normal Wash / High Temp cycle confirming 120VAC supplied from the main control to the heater circuit through operation. Units heater element functioning without fault. Poor drying results reported may or may not have been due to the selected cycle i.e. Quick Wash cycle option. Customer instructed on proper settings for optimal washing and drying performance. Customer will continue use of the unit as instructed and advise should further service be required.

"Found the units evaporator and evaporator cover heavily encapsulated in frost accumulation preventing airflow throughout the unit interior resulting in warmer FC temperatures and RC no cool condition. Customer reports the units FC / RC doors are often left ajar for prolonged periods of time which may or may not have been the original cause for the current condition found. Rather than accrue additional labor charges to thaw manually, the customer has opted to first remove the unit from power for no less than 36-48hrs allowing all frost to thaw naturally. The customer will then return the unit to power, monitor and advise should further service be required.

"Got to this unit today and found the customer to be complaining of a burning smell. No smoke was involved as I had initially saw on the complaint. Looked over the unit to indeed fine no burn marks whatsoever no indications of smoke. Customer was referring to the discoloration of the Opening where the heat comes from the heating element in the back on the bulkhead of this unit. I explained to the customer that overtime just heating alone would cause this discoloration much less anything heated from clothing that would be able to cause additional discoloration. Use glass bulb temperature monitoring device from multimeter to determine that this unit was cycling pretty close to normal for this size dryer. On the highest heat setting saw this unit go up to 200?F. Then dropped all the way back down to 131?F on the low side of that heat cycle. During the hottest portion of the heat cycle was touching the output hose that is not the accordion style hose but could feel some heat radiating from this that was pretty warm. Other than that, there was no indication of any burning smell in my presence at this unit ran several different cycles, including the wrinkle control that the customer was saying they use the most and found normal heat cycling through this unit. The only thing of my concern was is if the vent was restricted or the flapper at the roof was not allowing proper airflow that this could possibly aid in the high temperatures.even these temperatures were not out of the normal operation."

Found mounting points for hinge receivers were bent out of place causing door to not close properly. Adjusted mounting points to be correctly aligned and installed new receivers. Door now closes perfectly. All checks ok

"Customer concerned that the unit is up to 19 degrees. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, accessed evaporator (single evap, stand-alone freezer) and evaporator has full frost pattern. Evaporator running strong and found no defrost issue. I found piece of plastic covering the defrost drain hole, preventing water from draining properly. This developed an ice sheet and blocked the intake vent for the evaporator. Quoted customer labor to defrost the drain line and clear the intake vent. Customer approved. Defrosted ice from drain trough and re-installed all parts. All ops good. Job complete."

"There is no model serial sticker on this unit and no identifying information at all. Not even a manufacturers name. I did find that one of the two blower wheels has cracked. When the unit is turned on low, its OK but once it is turned on high that crack expands and rubs the inter portion of the blower wheel housing. I tried finding that model somewhere online to get information about it but was not able to. Customer told me the house was built in 2004 in the hood is original to the home. Customer plans on redoing the kitchen so he will just use it on low until they do the kitchen."
