Took unit apart after draining water was able to than get unit to go into spin but that was after pushing in the dial real hard behind the knob and forcefully getting unit to turn to the selection needed... Looked up new timer and timer has been discontinued

Installed new needed dryer kit and replaced wheels and new belt and was able to put unit back together and confirm unit is now quiet like it should when using and customer is now happy with the unit

Found ice in the bin but customer explained for a week or so it did not work properly... I confirmed fan working properly with the right temp so installed a new one as the old one has been not consistent with making ice so advised customer to give unit through the weekend and if no better production to call warranty to get us back out

"Cx complaint: sporadic behavior t the beginning of a cycle. Sometimes it starts, sometimes it wont. upon arrival, entered diagnostics and found an f3e2 pressure system fault. Removed the console and found a loose pressure hose connection at the main board. Inspected the pressure hose, found no debris or obstructions, reconnected pressure hose to the main board. Tested normal operations successfully . Unit now operates as designed.

With second tech and second pair of eyes and expertise we discovered from manufactor or installers there was to U shapes spacer on the left door as if the installers tried to raise or even the door but it did not allow the door to raise and drop like it should when door reaches half way point... From what was seen it was not a part on the fridge or something you can order so it was a first time for both of us.. But unit is now working like it should and customer is very happy; dspstn on spec-tagged invntry: 2 4387828A SHIM

Pressurized system with 250 pounds of nitrogen. Inspected entire external lines of sealed system with electronic sniffer and bubble solution. Unable to locate any leaks. After an hour pressure dropped to 248 pounds of pressure. Notified whirlpool tech-support about findings. Was advised unit has internal cabinet leak. Unit not repairable Sr# 7741615727

"Found cam bolt had came unloose and was just skipping on the notches of the disk as the belt was almost slipped off as well... Installed new actuator as i thought maybe was not shifting and a new cam with as it looked a little beat up Also added lock tight ... I tested unit with laundry in it a few times to reassure the harness was not broke and power was not being sent from control board to actuator and it worked as it should... Main cause is bolt being loose but now unit is repared and can be used

Readjusted unit and confirmed proper airflow leaving unit now. Also confirmed unit is heating. Advised Mr. to monitor unit call further issues

Cx instruct, cx was unaware of the cut in and cut out and that the temperature fluctuates normally during operations.

"Detailed report obtained from the homeowner prior to part installation. Homeowner reports issue occurring no more than 1 to 3 times per every 10 wash loads. Out of balance load conditions had not been noticed but, on those 1 to 3 occasions wash loads had been found to be more water saturated indicating failure to enter and/or complete final high speed spin. After high speed spin failures occur, if drain and spin cycle is selected the unit will extract remaining water to expectation without issue. Unit properly balanced and secure. Inspection has found no visible damage and/or indication of component wear. Prior diagnosis a miss, replacement shock supports not needed. Additionally, original part order had been intended as a kit including a set of four shocks. Replacement shocks are not available as a kit, individual order only. Reported issue appears due to either intermittent failure not occurring at time of service or out of balance load parameters based on improper loading preventing entry into and through high-speed spin. Customer instructed on full Use & Care for optimal performance and wash results. Customer to continue use as instructed and advise should further service be required."

Found left side of the lid screws not installed to hinge one screw on the floor underneath the washer. The other screw just pushed into the place. Reinstalled and secured lid to hinges all operation. Sounds test. Good customer to advise.

"Upon arrival, found clean light on control panel flashing seven times then repeating. This is a stored fault code indicating a heater circuit problem. Manually ohm out the heating element and the thermostat, and both parts check good. Placed control into diagnostics to clear out the fault code and to perform additional testing. Found heater relay on control board burned out. Control board part number WP8564547 has been discontinued. Notified office to report findings to extended warranty company."

"Cx complaint: unit leaking during operations.Upon arrival, entered diagnostics and performed an auto test. Confirmed cx complaint, and found water dripping down the back of the unit from the water valve. Removed the console and found a bad water valve. Quoted cx for a new valve and she approved the estimate. Installed new valve and tested operations. During testing, found water leaking under the unit. Tipped it up and found water dripping from the tub seal. Advised cx to start shopping for a new washer. Reinstalled the old valve.

Inspected unit and determine the UI control will not respond. It keeps displaying an F6 E3 which is a communication error between the UI control and the main board. In order to repair unit both the UI and main board will need to be replaced. Gave customer a rough estimate but she decline repair since it wont be cost effective. Customer decided she will purchase new unit.
