"Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the unit was not completing cycles. Unit appeared to be going through all normal parts of cycles empty. However, I did notice that the suspension was very soft. Hooked up the computer to this to find any fault codes. Unit had multiple faults, but only one was active. This was for suspicion of the basket being off-balance during spin. Tested unit without closing in it and could find no off-balance, but when opening the unit up and pushing down on the basket could feel the suspension bottom out quite easily. Gave customer estimate for new suspension and was not approved. Customer decided that he will probably move forward with a new unit. Job complete."

Ran a diagnostic cycle, and the unit did not complete the cycle. Found F7E3 basket engaged during wash and F6E3 communication error. Followed tech manual to diagnose ACU. All meter checks tested okay, flashing light at the main board. Tipped the unit up and found gearcase leaking grease. Removed rotor motor to inspect the slider. Slider moved up and down freely. Determined the main issue is the failing gearcase. Quoted cx for a new gearcase. Cx declined repair

"Found 240VAC standing at the homes power supply outlet, 120VAC L1 / L2 to Neutral / Ground, however, also found continuity between Neutral & Ground causing the GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) breaker to trip when the dryer is connected. Circuit remains energized when Neutral is isolated from the unit. Issue is not due to a fault of the unit but incorrect power supply. Complete multimeter testing conducted of the unit confirming component resistance readings within expected range, no electrical shorts to ground, no crossed wires, no visible damage, etc. Tim with Whirlpool T/L advise on findings. All information has been documented under Whirlpool T/L SR#: 7741452043. Lisa with Whirlpool Safety Team also advised, documented under Whirlpool S/T SR#: 7741369819. Customer has been instructed to have the homes dryer power supply circuit reassessed to correct. Customer to advise should further service be required.

Inspected unit and determine e the wire connection going from the main board to the cold solenoid was faulty loose therefore not making contact or energizing the valve. Repaired problem by reconnecting the wire connection tightly and securely to the cold valve. It is now being energized and sending water to the gasket. Unit is now working properly. Job complete.

"Cx complaint: water dispenser not working.Upon arrival, confirmed cx complaint. Removed the water filter and it still did not work. Removed the water line from the water valve and it still did not work. Installed a new valve, still didnt work. Reinstalled old valve. Finally checked the water supply line from the house and found the water pressure was low. Turned the pressure up and tested operations successfully. Unit now operates as designed.

"E2 (Ice Maker Lost Position) recorded in unit history. Unit temperatures and airflow check good. Unit ran through diagnostic ice maker harvest cycle test, ice maker water fill test, ice container level sensor test, etc. all without fault. Per the customer, the unit had been producing ice without fault till emptying the ice container. Days later the ice maker had failed to produce. power cycle conducted in attempt to reset unit controls. Following power cycle ice maker fault no longer reported. Customer to monitor and advise should ice production failure persist.

"Customer concerned that the unit will not finish the spin cycle and just shuts off. Checked error codes and found codes for 1) overload and 2) lid not opened between cycles and 3) UI stuck button. All of these codes are not too alarming and arent major. Ran test 51 for verification cycle and monitored all functions. All components responding properly. Checked basket suspension and suspension is good. Removed motor assembly and accessed clutch/slider and both components visually look good with no abnormal wear. Drain pump working as designed. Pressure system is good. Ran calibration on the unit and informed customer to monitor. If issue persists, recommended to the customer that we replace the main control. Job complete.
