Got to this unit and started testing and found actuator to still be making the noise. Unit was only making the noise when it was trying to shift. With little motion to the basket found the unit to be engaging correctly after movement. Got the unit apart after this to find that the gear case started leaking oil in the midst of removal. Changed out gearcase and tested again. Found no further issues at this time. Job complete.

"The front burner would not ignite properly. Customer was trying to do so without a pan on there. Per Whirlpool Techline on other gas cooktops you must do so with a pan on there. Also, she was not setting the dog in the correct setting for the ignition. Secondly oven temp was about 25? cooler than it should be. I entered temperature calibration settings and calibrated the settings to an acceptable temperature. All functions check OK. Job complete.

Got to this unit and started looking it over. Immediately found that the unit was not receiving any water. With testing also found that the valve was only receiving approximately 36 V when it should be receiving 120. With this information started trying to look for wires that were in the wrong place on the computer. Did not find any on preliminary exam. Because I could no longer find any further bit to test to find out more information called Techline. Tech line had me looking over different parts and pieces and we were approximately ready to call the computer a mess. Then I found that there was one of the wires in the wrong place the wires for the valve were on the bottom of the control board instead of on the side where they should be. Once this was found relocated the correct plug to the correct location and tested. Found this unit to now be working correctly. job complete

"Upon arrival, confirmed, fault, codes F9e1- f0e2. Remove water from system and found/cleared out debris from drain trap. (Causing long drain fault F9E1). With auto load dispenser, removed from unit, ran a quick wash cycle. Within seconds of unit running, found extreme sudsing occurring in basket. Contacted whirlpool tech-support (documented on same SR number as previous trip) was advised to have consumer clean unit with a fresh and to add vinegar to break suds back down into a liquid. Per Mrs., will also clean out auto load container and fill with vinegar to clear out any residual soap from hoses.

Following initial failure the customer had blocked off the ice chute minimizing frost buildup. All frost and ice accumulation cleared for inspection finding no physical damage. Units ice flapper door securely reinstalled into the dispenser module to correct. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to monitor and advise should further service be required.

Got back to the unit to find that the boat for the rotor had come loose again. Was able to apply some thread locker to bolt and reinstall. Tested after that to find that the unit unit is now working correctly. Unit was having issues with the shifter engaging into the rotor. Testing now shows that the unit is working properly and no further issues found at this time. Collected for service call only. Job complete.
