Upon arrival, tested power at the terminal block and noticed that the L1 and L2 screws are loose on the terminal block, and this caused damage to the power cord. Due to the situation, I will need to replace the power cord first before further diagnosis. Informed customer of this and quote plus tax for the cord, customer already had the unit uninstalled. Installed new power cord and tested, unit is working now. However, due to the melting of the power cord and the state of the socket on the wall, recommended to the customer that she have an electrician replace the socket first before using the unit. Customer understood. Customer aware that the service charge is valid for 30 days, and to call us if the dryer is not working properly after the electrician replaces the socket. Job complete.

"Arrived and determine the water in the Filltube water line going to the icemaker is once again frozen. Did my checks and icemaker, fill tube heater checks out good.. when I think could be the problem is the solenoid for the water that goes to the icemaker could be bad which if we force it to receive water it does work but when the icemaker does it automatically it might not it could be a week solenoid so what I did was replaced the dual water valve. Customer will keep an eye on it to see if it solved problem. Job complete."

"Cx complaint: drain pump running all the time.Upon arrival, unit was unplugged. Plugged it in and the drain pump kicked on immediately. Held the start/pause button for 20 seconds and was able to exit out of flood mode. Entered diagnostics, found an OOB error code. Ran an auto test successfully. Basket was tight, suspension checked okay. Tipped the unit up, removed the drain pump, found no obstructions. Removed the cam. Inspected the gearcase and the cam, found no issues. Reinstalled all parts. Ran a calibration and an auto test to completion successfully. Found noisy operations of issues at this time, unit operates as designed.

"On arrival the customer advised they had been able to rig a temporary solution using two toothpicks to secure the power button in the top position. Unit currently 3 inches above the countertop. With the two toothpicks removed the drive motor could be herd energized however, the mechanism found to be bound. Drive motor sounds to be stripped or slipping. Multiple components will be needed to restore full functionality. Due to the units age, multiple components have likely been discontinued by the manufacture and a NLA. Customer states they haven't used the unit in years and are not concerned with repair but would like it disconnected from power. Power supply to the unit shut off at the homes circuit breaker #31. Customer to advise should further service be requested.

"Got back to this unit and was able to install new icemaker. Took a few extra minutes to discuss and look over the unit with the customer on the smell issue. Found that this unit does indeed have a large section of the bottom portion of the refrigerator that could be removed to possibly fine underneath it. Possibilities for smells or retaining fluids of some sort. Showed this to the customer and they were able to clean a little bit in and around it, as well as in the back by where the evaporator pulls fresh air in. No further issues found at this time. Got to this unit to find that the heating element was indeed no good. Removing the heating element also found that the terminals to the heating element were also burnt off. Tested operation and found that this heating element was consistently getting full voltage. But was not working. Installed new heating element after approved by the customer. Found this unit to not stop heating. Unit was not registering temperature whereas it shouldve already by the time we got to a glowing heating element. With this information in hand tested broil element as well and found it to not change temperature sensor whatsoever. Looked up parts to fix this unit and found it to be not cost-effective for the customer. Was then had to remove element that was installed . Customer to replace unit. job complete.

"Cx complaint: rattling noise during the spin cycle.Upon arrival, entered diagnostics found no error codes. Ran a diagnostic cycle and confirmed cx complaint. Removed the drain pump and found a foreign object (finishing nail) stuck in the pump near the impeller.
