Unit operating at set temperatures on arrival. Normal cooling and ice protection had only been restored after the customer had again removed the unit from power for 24hrs the day prior for a full defrost. Unit agan ran through complete diagnostic testing finding and/or reporting no component failures. Multimeter testing conducted at the HV control confirming proper voltage supplied and resistance values of all unit thermistors at temperature. Whirlpool T/L advised on unit history and continuing frost buildup at the RC evaporator. T/L is now suggesting the installation of a new HV control and RC evaporator thermistor as a possible solution to correct. As continuing failure cannot be confirmed the result of a faulty HV control the customer has opted not to pursue further service at this time.

"On arrival found unit temperatures operating at set points, prior EC faults and Service icon no longer displayed at the UI. Unit has been running in normal cooling operations for 13 days following 48hr defrost. Found no signs of defrost failure i.e. no frost buildup at the FC evaporator. With the FC evaporator area now accessible, multimeter testing conducted confirming continuity of both the defrost heater element and defrost bi-metal terminator, not open or shorted to ground. Confirmed all molex connections secure with no damage to the wire harness found. Original frost up condition may or may not have been due to prolonged warm air infiltration, control fault, etc. Customer instructed to monitor unit operations, temperatures, frost pattern of the FC evaporator, ect. and to advise should additional service be required. Pre-ID heater kit marked for 30 day hold."

After installation of new fill tube was able to route this part back to its original place of the water valve in the top of the refrigerator all of this put into place. Got to this unit to discover that the dryer wood indeed not spin or heat. Checked to find proper power coming into this unit. Reset the breaker and checked again. Unit not working still. Got into test the motor and check the motor found visually the motor to be looking good and correct. Could find no issues with the motor. Got up to the timer area to inspect wiggled all of the wires on the back of the timer and then checked again only to find the dryer to power up by itself because it was sitting on the start button. Further testing could not find the reason for this unit not working. Unit is now working correctly. Could find no further issues. Tried wiggling the power plug and no loss or drop of power found. Unit working correctly now.

"Found standing water within the unit tank, unable to drain. All water vacuumed from the units sump confirming drain failure due to broken glass hindering operation and rotation of the drain pump motor and impeller. With obstruction cleared, drain pump motor function has been fully restored. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to continue normal use of the unit, monitor and advise should further service be required.

"Customer concerned that the unit was leaking, enough to saturate 4 large bath towels. Upon arrival, customer had water shut off to the unit and the water leak stopped. Ruled out possibility that the unit is leaking water during the defrost cycle, because it would be leaking regardless of the water shut off or not. Ran multiple gallons of water through the water dispenser and found no water leak. Customer stating that the unit will leak but only if the filter is installed, so they havent installed the filter since Chris was out. Customer not wanting to replace the filter housing. Upon running the water dispenser AND ice maker, found no water leak anywhere underneath the fridge near the water lines and valve. No water leaking from the filter housing as well. Could not find source of water leaking from the at this time and informed customer to keep an eye on it and call back if it starts leaking again. Job complete.

"Placed unit into diagnostic mode and did not find any stored fault codes. Manually activated bake relay and confirmed Bake element heating. Found, when selecting bake cycle, 177?C shown on display. Manually changed setting from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Set oven to bake at 350?F and confirmed oven heating properly now. Job complete
