"Go to this unit to find on arrival the door ajar, as well as lights lit on the control, panel and water found in the bottom of the unit. Was not really able to get a definite answer from the young lady at the desk who runs this unit on a regular, but this unit was also not installed properly. And it is known that the door was making contact with the cabinet not allowing it to shut properly. This was due to it not being mountain. Was able to mount the unit to keep it from moving out of position for closing the door properly. With testing found that not only does the unit drain properly. It washes and dries and does all the functions and its supposed to do. No faults found at this time Did however see a very slight bit of water residue from underneath the unit it is not clear as to where this water has come from. There is a refrigerator next to it as well as a sink on the other side. Unable to determine where that water came from at this time. insured the door was level to shut properly. No further issues seen as this time. Job complete call the office about billing on this unit to find out that we are going to send the bill over to them to have paid. Got to the unit to find error code for locked rotor. Also found error code for stuck button. Found that the controls during normal operation would not work. Only power button working. Due to this would recommend user interface replacement as well as motor components. Also found that the gearcase was leaking oil. Due to these issues mounting up this unit was deemed not cost-effective for repair by the customer. Customer is going to be looking for a new unit. Collected for service call today.

"New drive motor, run capacitor and lower wire harness installed. Unit initiated diagnostic auto test finding the unit faulting out under F9-E1 (Long Drain Fault). After speaking with the customer found displayed fault to have been the original fault reported. Customer does not recall any other faults displayed. Unable to obtain prior service information and testing results from the original servicer. Confirmed the units pressure dome, pressure hose and the controls pressure sensor receiver port all clear of debris and/or obstructions. 120VAC supplied, properly polarized and grounded. Additional diagnostic and normal cycle operation testing conducted without change. Unit continues to fault out under F9-E1 within 10sec - <1min of initiating cycle. Pre-diagnosed failure appears to have been a miss based on an active service pointer attached with this units model. Primary failure appears to be due to an out of range pressure sensor within the units electronic control. Installation of a new lid latch assembly also advised due two functional issues found through testing. "No fault error codes recorded in unit history since prior service. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test and manual load testing confirming the unit fully stable with little to no vibration through high speed spin. All unit tests and operations check good however, customer continues to report intermittent issue where in the unit will move from its currently positioned and level placement. Inspection has found the unit still level, true and secure since prior adjustment(s). After prior leveling adjustments, both the homes floor and the units leveling adjusters rubber foot pads had been cleaned of all oils and/or debris by use of rubbing alcohol, ensuring optimal contact and adhesion between the leveling adjusters and the floor. However, once the bond has been released, found the unit is able to move / slide with minimal force. Homes tile flooring is of adequate texture to support and maintain a secure foundation. No wax build up, debris, sand, etc. Condition may or may not be due to hardening of the rubber pads of the leveling adjusters. No service pointers have been generated for this issue. Corrective action not listed through Whirlpool Service Matters, all relatively related listings are no longer active and/or no longer have active part status.
