"Sr#7741223504 got back to this unit and heard from the customer that the vent company had come back out and re-verified that the ductwork was clear. Put the new computer in because of this information of the customer still seeing the message. And with testing once a new computer was in, found it to actually give the message faster this time. Because of this called into tech line and spoke with a gentleman there that proceeded to explain that the ductwork if it were to be one or 2 feet too long could indeed confuse the sensors to give this message. This version of metering is quite sensitive. With this information in hand, it was spoke of that. The customer would need to be aware of this as being a warning message, as long as the unit is performing correctly this is not a concern any further. Job complete."

"Upon removing the first LED module, noticed no slack in the led module whatsoever. With minimal force, the wires pulled from the plug internally from the fridge. Dug out a considerable amount of insulation from the body of the unit behind the module and plug is very far upwards into the body. Tried removing the plug with a hook pick, needle nose pliers, and had no luck. Due to the fact that the led lights are covered P&L through whirlpool, I called tech line to discuss further action. Sent photos to tech line. Tech line told me this will be classified as not repairable, and the customer will need to contact whirlpool customer service to discuss the new step. Since the lights are covered through whirlpool, they should be replacing the unit. SR# 7741223169. Job complete.

Looking over this unit easily, saw the discoloration and what looked to be discrepancies in the coding of the doors. Where it was peeling away from the doors. Also could tell where the interior liner of the refrigerator on the left-hand side was rusting. And customer also complaining of there to be a white powdery type residue coming from the areas where the plastic is rubbing to and fro. Did not observe cabinet moving during this spinning condition. Protect support, this is normal for the basket to bounce during startup of spinning. "Cx complaint: ticking noise during operationsEntered diagnostics and confirmed cx complaint. Also found no error codes. Tipped the unit up and inspected the components. Found a loose cam and quoted cx for the new part. Cx okayed the repair. Replaced cam and tested operations. Still had a ticking noise. Tipped the unit up, isolated the motor and found ticking from the motor. Uninstalled the motor to inspected for debris or obstructions. Found no obstruction, reinstalled the motor and the ticking went away. Reinstalled the belt and the tick came back. The belt looks okay. I believe it is due to the tension on the motor causing the tick. Advised cx the tick is coming from the motor. All operations check okay besides ticking noise during operations.

Found customers concerns were the unit was making a noise and in each test setting through all the fans and damper control and compessor tests i could not produce sound... Also customer left ice maker off does not want it on nor fixed so it was not the valve she also states the unit will make a noise for over 30 minutes but does not know where in the fridge.. The other concern was the deli drawer with the control will now and than not close all the way which i advised to customer the cord may get jammed up and all she does is push it shut and its fine.. The customer also states mositure on the gasket of the freezer door which today their was not but i set mullens on test 35 and 40 and took heat gun to gaskets and reformed gasket to assure better seal

Checked unit. Found freezer door is not closing completely. The door hinge and closer assy is completely rusted and worn out and is not bringing the door closed tight. This is letting warm air in and causing the frost build up and eventual freezing of the door shut. All of the parts needed are all NLA. We cannot repair the unit to function correctly. The only thing the customer can do is have a contractor put some kind of manual latch on the door to keep it pulled closed that would work.

"Got to this unit and found a bin full of ice. Was able to pull bin out and check for power to the icemaker. Discovered that the icemaker indeed responded to the power button. Also found that the unit had just harvest put a container underneath and actuated the harvest cycle again. After doing so so water enter into the icemaker without issue. Because icemaker is working correctly and could see no faults with icemaker. Discussed several other options that the customer may be experiencing that could be attributing or causing these issues of low to no ice production. After discussing these options with the customer, they said that they would try what they could and let us know if we are still needed for repair. Job complete.

Cx complaint: ice/water on the floor beneath the crisper drawer. Tore the RC apart to expose the evaporator (see photo attached). Confirmed the drain pan was not warped or broken. Confirmed thermistor was in the proper location. Wrapped it in HVAC tape to confirm a tight connection to the suction line. Found drain frozen up. Used steamer to clear the clogged drain. Poured some water down to confirm its draining properly. Followed all steps in service pointer #W11092686 that align with this issue. Advised cx to call the office if issues persist.

Install these new parts and tested the unit found the icemaker to be rolling around with no noises. Also was able to deliver water to the icemaker. And fan is also working. Well have to wait and see if this unit produces ice on its own now. Job complete.
