"Go to the unit to find the when first tested the unit would start running for about 3 to 5 seconds and shut down immediately. No heating happening during that time. Got the unit down took the cover off to find the top door switch had two terminals hanging from it. Was able to determine which ones went where, since they were not the same size. And found that one of the terminals was not clicking into place and locking. was able to give a slight bend to the locking mechanism on the terminal. This allowed it to lock in place and not slide off at all. Replaced the magnetron. Tested again to find all is now heating and working properly. No further issues found."

"When I arrived, I entered the unit into diagnostics and found in Test 56 E5 error code. And then ran the following tests and all checked good.Test 57 harvestedTest 45 Fill test okTest 15 Ice level sensor ok with bin in and removed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Steve.Freezer thermistor 12.3k ohms at the control board. Freezer temp 20 which are correct for temp and resistance. I then checked fan operations and all fans and baffles were functioning fine. I checked frost pattern at freezer evaporator and had very minimal frost while unit was in a cooling cycle. Whirlpool Techline suggests sealed system issue at this point and for sealed system tech to come back and check pressures and check system for leaks. Ordering leak detection components.SR# 7736414964; ordrng 1 Sealedsystemtech (Sealed system tech) and 1 Nitrogen (Nitrogen) and 1 Gasleakdetectorkit (Gas leak detector kit) and 1 Processvalvekit (Process valve kit)"

Got to the unit to find that the wire on one of the hot legs had burnt off on the power cord. This was not allowing power into the unit. found that the junction block was melted at the terminal as well. The eyelids for the main harness were unharmed. Replace the junction block and got the unit back to normal. Not able to test at this time due to power cord needing replacement. Pictures taken to document this issue. Customer unhappy since they were under the impression that the cord and unit are under the same warranty. Had to inform her that this is not the case and that the cords are bought separately from the units. "As reported, found continuous operation of the blower asm when power is supplied to the unit. Unit can be cycled through all blower speed options, surface lights fully functional, blower function can be paused when holding the On / Off button key however resumes operation once released. Confirmed all connections secure with no damage to the wire harness found. This unit is not equipped with a temp bi-metal thermal. Primary failure due to a fault of the relay control. As the units key pad is also a programmed control, both the relay control board asm and keypad control are recommended to restore full unit function ensuring proper communication between the two controls. Got to the unit to find that the lights were pulsing in both sections. Replace the light in the freezer section 1st. To find that it was still doing the same thing.
