"Found the units RC evaporator frosted over with no function of the RC evaporator fan motor. Failure as found may be in part to (but not limited to) a faulty motherboard control, RC evaporator fan motor, defrost failure, etc. As this units Model / Serial tag has been removed with no other model identifier available, unable to accurately and without potential for error look up correct model information and/or parts needed for repair. Before advancing with any further service the customer has opted to remove the unit from power for 36-48hrs while leaving the units doors open allowing for full defrost. The customer will then return the unit to power and monitor. Customer to advise.

Unit off and at ambient temperature upon arrival. Unit ran through diagnostic load testing finding no operation of the units circulation pump resulting in ice production failure. Upon further inspection found debris appearing to be yellow sponge material within the circulation pump impeller housing preventing rotation of the impeller leading to motor failure. New circulation pump from truck stock installed to correct. Unit again ran through diagnostic load testing now without fault. All unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service.

"Confirmed 240VAC properly supplied to the unit. "Got back to this unit and installed new passive hinge due to the noise that we were hearing on that side of the door. After replacing this hinge still Im hearing this detent type noise out of the hinge and it is right around where the unit has the position for vent in the closing part of the door motion. There is some motion in the hinge where it attaches to the perch. That appears to be not adjustable, nor did it change from the previous passive hinge. Believe this to be unfortunately part of the design of the door. Does not appear to be an issue with the function of the opening and closing. no further repairs suggested at this time"

"Customer concerned that the unit stopped cooling for a day or two, and is now working. Upon arrival, tested temperatures and they are good. Entered into diagnostics and checked all components and they are working. Found no defrost issue and evaporator has full frost pattern. Put unit into a forced defrost mode to verify operation of the defrost system and it is good. Checked all door seals and they are in proper condition. Did find small amount of condensation inside the freezer on the shelving and on the back panel. Informed customer that the door may have been left open by accident, which caused moisture to get inside the unit and cause a temporary air flow restriction. Cleared out condensation and unit is good to go. Customer will call if they notice any further issues. Job complete."

"Complaint basket wont spin and only buzzes. Unit is receiving 240VAC and does not drop when started. Customer replaced the timer but did not fix the issue. "Got to this unit to find that the actuator was making an odd noise. Once this was found, got down underneath the unit to find oil and water present inside the cam cup. This is a direct indicator that the gear case has failed. It is my opinion that the oil and water mixture is making it difficult for the cam to actually move. Intern, the actuator is either worn out or having such an issue moving that it is clicking due to this issue. Gave customer estimate for what would basically be a washer rebuild to replace belt, cam gear, case and labor. And customer opted not to follow through with estimate. Their belief at this time is to get another unit.

Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the unit would not turn on or start a cycle. Was able to get into diagnostics did not find any error codes. Tested on automatic cycle went through all testing without issue. Went ahead and ran to calibration to ensure function for this unit. Then started a normal cycle to ensure proper water level was reached. Unit performed all of these test without issue. Unsure if it was user error or machine just not wanting to cooperate. Job complete.

Complaint handle broke off and panel is sometimes not working. I found that the handle cushions were broken apart aswell as some plastic inside the door. I also experienced the touch pad UI on the door to be non responsive sometimes. I gave customers quote on either replacing the whole door or a couple of parts and they said they want to buy a new one.

Complaint unit wont go through cycle. I found that in diagnostics the unit wont spin or agitate. Underneath the unit I found that the capacitor was leaking acid. I replaced the capacitor and the unit started to operate as designed with no faults or errors.
