Complaint no ice. I found that the mold had no ice cubes or water. The ice maker did not have any error codes and the fill and harvest tests work as designed with no fail. "Customer concerned that the unit is not heating. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, verified proper power at the outlet. Pulled unit out with floor protection and accessed terminal block on the dryer. Started dryer and checked for voltage drop and voltage is steady at 120/120/240vac. Disassembled the unit and accessed the heating element. All thermostats are testing good but noticed one of the main connections to the element (purple wire) is melted and burnt the connection to the heating element. Need to install new connection onto purple wire and also replace the heating element due to the damage to the connection on the heating element. Quoted customer for a new Heater. Customer declining repair at this time but may call us back to proceed with the repair.

"Found the unit serial number matching dispatch is currently in use and appears to be operating and heating without issue. Found the unit adjacent to the left inoperable. Meter testing has confirmed improper voltage supplied. Access to the buildings circuit panel unavailable at time of service. Units power cord connected to the adjacent power outlet restoring full unit operation to include proper cycling of the heater circuit. Operational failure due to improper power supplied, not unit failure. POC called twice to advise however, failed to answer. Advise resetting of the circuit breaker as a first attempt to correct. Should operational failure persist, a certified electrician will be needed to restore 240VAC to the supply outlet to correct. Building Management to advise."

Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the temperature gauge inside the unit was showing quite a bit different from the temperature gauge on the oven. Discuss this with the customer and showed what a glass bulb temperature reading was in real time. Unit was able to achieve 350? in under or right at 20 minutes maybe slightly less. This is normally a correct time period for this. Was able to show customer that the metal temperature gauge was off by somewhere between 60 to 75? at any given time. Collected for service call today. No further issues found with this oven. Job complete.

"Unit running in cooling operations with temperature set points at -6?F FC / 36?F RC, Actual temperatures at 12.5?F FC / 48?F RC. Units FC, RC, ice room and condenser fan motors all operating at speed with good airflow. Confirmed no signs of defrost failure. High temperature alarm triggered during inspection service. Warmer operating FC / RC temperatures and ice production issues i.e. melting, clumping, dripping at the dispenser, etc. all appear due to a potential leak of the units sealed system. This unit is covered under a manufacturer five-year sealed system warranty. As such, any and all warranty work must be performed by GE Factory Service for coverage. Customer advised.

After pulling unit apart i started at the door and was trying to test unit and see if the unit was ingnighting but is was not so called techline and and found that the plug behind the door was loose ... so reconnected and tested unit and still did not get the ignighter to come on so i went and started testing fuses and as i got to the blower tube i found the two harness wires for the thermal cut off and the other fuse on the back right side of the blower tube were not plugged in i rehooked them up and tested unit to now be heating as it should

"Since prior emergency service the customer had removed the unit from power for +30hrs allowing all frost accumulation at the RC evaporator to thaw. With all frost accumulation cleared the unit has resumed normal operation finding and/or reporting no component failures through full diagnostic load testing. As prior diagnosed component failure(s) cannot be duplicated and/or confirmed, the customer has opted not to advance with part installation at this time. Customer will monitor unit temperatures and ice production and advise should further service be required. All parts marked and retained for later installation if needed.
