"F8-E1 (Long Fill) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Unit ran through diagnostic manual load testing finding restricted water flow through the units No. 1 cold water inlet valve solenoid with no water flow through the No. 4 Oxi valve solenoid. Valve solenoid failures found will result in recorded long water fill fault and allow for reoccurring marking issues most noticeably on darker items. All other component load tests pass without fault. New inlet water valve assembly from truck stock installed restoring proper water flow through all valve solenoids. Unit ran through calibration cycle, diagnostic auto test, diagnostic load testing and initial Rinse, Drain & Spin cycle all without fault and/or water leaks. Customer instructed on full Use & Care for optimal performance and wash results. Customer to continue use of the unit as instructed and advise should further service be required.

Installed new motor and shaft and ice container and cleaned up old rust on the platsic and was able to confirm unit now back to looking and working like it should and customer is happy

"Found E2 icemaker fault had stopped ice production. Upon initial testing of icemaker found motor making loud grinding noise and would not advance through a harvest test. Motor unable to properly drop cubes in mold. Verified proper water fill and no obstructions in motor or forks. Replaced complete icemaker assembly, tested unit and all operations check OK at this time. Transaction ID 2098755."

"Sr#7741077996 Chris at tech line. Service net CallNumber# 3101789E1 got to this unit to find that the customer was having issues with the door ceiling on the middle drawer as well as the freezer drawer and getting condensation on them. Also had issue where the customer was complaining about a vibration noise in the rear of the unit, this was indeed due to a couple lines that were not an ideal placement that were able to vibrate and cause these noises. This was able to be moved around into a better position to wear. This unit was no longer vibrating. Further investigation with the customer having issues with the ice dispenser determine that the ice bin would not be locked into the cabinet due to parts of it being broken. this was due to normal wear and tear and because of what part this is, it is unable to be repaired. This is part of the cabinet and is a non-repairable item. Called into whirlpool and got this documented with them SR number at the beginning of this ticket also called in to let service net know that this was non-repairable. They are to reach out to the customer and let them know what further steps are to be made. No further service is to be done to this unit."

"Go to this unit to hear quite loud grinding from this unit when the unit was shifting between agitate and spin. This typically is occurring from a bad actuator and or bad cam. In this circumstance found the cam needed to be replaced since it had been doing this quite often. Also had suggested to replace the actuator since it is the shifting mechanism for this function. Customer approved the repair today and it was performed. After performing the repair ran calibration cycle normal test and started a cycle to confirm operation in agitation. Once these were performed, went ahead and got back into an automatic test and ran one more time for good measure to make sure this unit was indeed repaired. Job complete.

Found F7E4 code for basket reengagement failure.. Also found F6E3 communication error and F0E3 for overload.. was able to confirm slider that was recently replaced seemed to be ok so i installed clutch and new slider and cleared codes and tested unit and unit went through all testing and no new codes poped up.. Unit is now working like it should

"3516 got to this unit to hear from the customer that there were some heavy loads done in this unit, which typically werent normal cycles. After these heavier cycles, there were several times if not every time where the unit was having to be run on a drain and spin after the cycle had completed. Customer had concerns initially about the drain being clogged or not functioning correctly. However, after testing found several levels of things that were going on. One is door had to be firmly shut, not such a big deal. Then we get along to the drain pump, not draining probably as fast as it could, whereas we could have something in the screen that would either need to be cleaned or new pump. But the real concern here was the motor noise coming directly from the back bottom of this unit the motor itself was making a heck of a lot of noise when it would spin up. Specifically at the highest revolution. Which was also part of the concern that this unit was not spinning out correctly. All of this testing done with an empty load still have these concerns. Therefore gave the customer an estimate for a new drain pump and a new motor for this unit. The price of these two parts Alone would Dr. the cost prohibitive to repair. Customer is more than likely going to be moving towards purchasing a new unit when she can no longer tolerate this one. Job complete."

Inspected unit and determined the customer mistakenly had the temperature settings set for Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Reprogrammed it for Fahrenheit and then tested the oven and it is heating properly and reading the right temperature now. tested properly job complete.

Installed all new parts and now the pull out drawer is working properly. Job complete.

Customer concerned that the unit is not cooling properly. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, found freezer section at 60 degrees. Accessed compressor compartment and compressor is running. Compressor and dye drier have been replaced in the past. Attached gauges to the sealed system and found low side in a deep vacuum. Checked equalization pressures and they are low, indicating refrigerant leak within the sealed system. Inspected unit for dye from the drier and found no indication of a refrigerant leak, just oxidation on the copper in the back compartment. Upon further inspection, found rust/corrosion on the bottom left door hinge in the corner of the frame. Suspect that the refrigerant leak is in thermal within the Yoder loop. In this case, the unit would not be repairable and customer will have to replace the unit entirely. Job complete."

Got to this unit to hear from the customer that they were concerned the convection fan was not working on this unit. Testing showed on arrival that indeed the fan was not working. Was able to pull the unit out and do further testing and found that one of the Wires in the Mulinax connected to this fan motor was not inserted fully. After finding this and re-inserting the connector into the Moen was able to test again. Testing found this fan now to be working correctly. When putting this connection back together did verify that this wire would not come out again under normal circumstances. Also had gone into diagnostics and tested the fan after this to confirm operation there as well. No further issues found at this time. Job complete.

"Got back to this unit and inspected basket for installation. Unit looked in great shape. Was able to dismantle this unit and get the old parts out. Was able to reinstall new parts and put this unit back together. Once the unit was back together ran a calibration cycle, also ran automatic test, and finished with the start of a normal cycle to confirm operation. No further issues found at this time. Unit ran through diagnostic load testing finding no heat generated from the bake element. Units broiler element fully functional confirming 240VAC supplied. Unit pulled and rear panel uninstalled for inspection and multimeter testing. Confirmed continuity of the units bake element. Diagnostic load testing repeated confirming 240VAC supplied from the main control to the bake element. However, through further inspection found one of the two wire harness connector pins unsecured from the two prong connection resulting in a wire disconnect, picture attached for reference. Confirmed no physical damage, connection fully seated and secured to correct. Unit again ran through diagnostic load testing now without fault, bake element heating and functioning normally. Customer to continue normal use of the unit, monitor and advise should further service be required."

Checked unit over and could not locate any problems at this time. Unit is cooling properly and fan motor is on and running quietly. Advise Mrs. most likely the door was accidentally propped open by product which caused a warm air intrusion and moisture may have frozen around the fan motor and created the noise. Mrs will monitor and advise if noise returns.

Installed new control panel confirmed unit working properly

Inspected unit and determined one of the legs from the power cord going to the terminal block was burnt therefore no powering up. Repair problem by reconnecting both sides of the leg with a new fitting tightly and securely. Unit is now powering on and working properly. Job complete.

Got back to this unit and was able to install new control board. After installation of control board tested operation of the unit and found it to be working correctly. Unit was able to heat up to 350?F in normal time. No further issues found unit test good

Came and inspected unit and determine the suspension rods are faulty so every time they run a cycle It goes into a of balance and unit shutoff. Installed new suspension rods and unit is now spinning and working properly. Job complete.

"Upon arrival, found no water or ice sitting in the icemaker. Performed icemaker water filter test number 45. Found water valve is getting energized, but no water flow. Found icemaker filled tube froze up where it enters into the icemaker housing. Issue caused from the aluminum foil sticker/filter tube heater lifting up from the fill tube. Re-wrapped the aluminum foil heater around the field tube for better contact. Perform multiple test and confirmed water flowing properly now to icemaker. Advised if issue returns, fill tube heater part number. W11226501 $85.15 will need to be ordered with additional shipping labor and tax charge. All lights are working properly."
