"Found the units LF infinite switch faulty, 100% power output in all settings low through high. New LF infinite switch supplied by pre-ID installed restoring proper function of the LF cooktop element. "Found slight but present noise issue reported due to vibration through cycle operation. Unit disassembled, heavy lint buildup throughout the unit interior vacuumed. No component damages found. Spoke with Thermador and was given a document with instructions to reroute the FF thermistor for a more complete defrost. Thermistors were taped to the insulation from the factory and now the thermistor must be ziptied and taped to the evaporator inlet. Installed parts per service bulletin. "Sr#7740897819Got to this customers home to hear from the customer that they had not run their heat at all for the last two months that theyve had this unit and their power bill has significantly gone up. To help explain some of this to both me and the customer Put this unit onto a amperage meter plugging the unit back in. Found this unit to be drawing somewhere between one to 1 and a half A on initial start up and running at .86 for continuous run. This does not appear to be an issue as far as what the unit should or should not be doing. These are normal running amperages. Did find, however, that the freezer section that had previously been addressed to still be giving a warm air infiltration. This was due to there being a gap between the inner and outer parts of the cabinet, allowing for warm moist air to get in behind the door gaskets. Believe this was occurring on both refrigerator and the freezer sections. Used our adhesive to seal up these gaps that range anywhere from a 16th to 1/ 8th inch gaps at the largest spots. Once this was done with pictures recording all of this. Called into tech line to report what was going on and our findings so that if this continues, we have more that we can do to test and or pursue. No further issues found at this time. This is a wait-and-see situation. The customer will need to wait at least 48 hours to get a good idea for what this unit is going to do moving forward.

Came to rediagnose unit and determine the water was not draining within a period of time so it would timeout. Took me a while to find where the clothe was and it was right where the out put round whole is on the outer tub to the hose is. Found the sock stuck. Removed it and reinstalled hose. And unit is now draining and spinning properly. Job complete.

SR# 7740890493 - On arrival was about to work on the damper issue and noticed 2 significant spots of sweating on the mullion divider. Stopped condenser fan motor for about 10 minutes and still had no heat on mullion. Unit has a separated Yoder loop. Spoke with TJ at Whirlpool Techline and submitted photos. Unit has been put up for review.

Found water underneath the foam round leak detector. Dry it out very well. Advised customer if it happens again it is leaking from one of the seals from the wash motor. Gave him a rough estimate and he said if he gets the error again. He will purchase new unit.

"Kelly from safety team is who I talked to today. Called in after speaking with the customer about the problems. This customer was finding. Have pictures recorded of several pieces of large plastic that got knocked into the ice bin from the icemaker failure. Believe this was either due to a faulty door, allowing for ice to build up around the water delivery to the icemaker or due to a faulty water inlet valve that was progressively giving water when not needed or requested. One of these two options or both could be the reasoning why this ice was able to make it into the path of the mold for harvest. Called into safety to report my findings and was told before even giving diagnosis that this unit was not to be worked on any further. Kelly as mentioned from above from safety team was going to be contacting the customer shortly after I got off the phone with her to discuss moving forward options for this customer. Working off of the same SR number as indicated in the bill. Waiting to hear one way or the other what is going tobe the end result here.

Entered diagnostic mode and found two stored fault codes. Overload detected and locked rotor. Performed automatic test and confirmed all ops functioning properly. Inspected lower unit and did not find any issues. Per Mr., wife has been doing several loads of laundry since last called in and had no issues. Advised to call us back if issue returns.

After installing capacitor found unit with no power... Customer just moved in so we found the breaker box and was able to flip the breaker.. Now i have confirmed power to test unit... Unit went through all testings and is back to working normal and customer is happy
