"Customer concerned that the knob is broken for the rear left burner and the valve is seized. Confirmed both issues. Quoted customer for a new knob and valve and customer approved, however, when attempting to remove the top panel of the cooktop I found that the burner nuts are seized on as well and very brittle. If I start to loosen the burner nuts then the whole manifold twists and it is a risk to damage the gas lines underneath. Informed customer and showed him the issue and explained that if these manifolds twist then we would have to rebuild the entire cooktop. Customer not wanting to proceed with repair. Will return parts.

Got back to the unit and discovered customer had actually had to turn the unit up from the 37? setpoint that we had left it at customer describe she had items getting too cold. Unit setpoint 439? upon leaving checked over evaporator and rear components as well to find no die present. Unit had good frost pattern no issues found or heard of at this time. Job complete.
