"As reported found the units door locked, standing water within the tub and unable to drain. Through inspection found and removed a metal obstruction from within the drain pump impeller housing. "Sr#7738843500 go to this unit to find that the maker would fill with water, but was not recirculating. Further testing found drain pump to be working, but recirculation pump not doing it job. Call Techline since we had had other hands in this to get some assistance. Determine that the pumps were not receiving power. Techline instructed to move further into the unit to find if loose connection or something of that nature was the problem. Once the top was pulled, was able to distinguish that there was a loose connection going to the main control. Got this confirmed and locked in properly. Tested unit and found that it is now functioning as though it should. Job complete.

"Inspected unit and determine the P-trap drainage was clogged with debris. Therefore, it was frozen, not allowing the water to go down to the pan, cleaned out and flush the P-trap. It is now allowing the water to float down to the drain pan. It is now working properly. Job complete.

I Removed and replace the water valve and also water tube. I sealed the rear cabinet with some sealer putty as well. Reassembled unit and tested all functions and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

Found condenser line vibrating adjusted condenser line and confirmed unit working properly with no irregular noise

"Upon arrival, found unit working in properly,with good temps, and no lights flashing on or off. After further diagnosing from observing customers video of issue, advised DC voltage interruption detected when flashing occurs. Replaced freezer fan assembly and advise customer to monitor unit . Advised if issue returns.

Reconnected wiring harness connection to upper refrigerator lights. Confirm proper operation. Confirmed icemaker working properly still. Job complete.

"Found the units gravity drain hose had become kinked behind the unit preventing efficient drainage causing ice produced to melt rapidly before resulting in total ice production failure reported. "Found the units ice maker water fill tube frozen blocking water flow to the ice maker. Additionally, found the ice makers waterproof coating failing. Freezing of the ice maker water fill tube may or may not have been the result of water to the home being shut off with the ice maker left to continue in operation. All ice clear from the ice maker water fill tube. New ice maker from truck stock installed. New ice maker initiated and completed harvest cycle to include proper water fill without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

"As reported, found no illumination, tone and/or function at the units UI control. Power to the unit disconnected at the homes circuit breaker for testing. Set and secured all wire connections at the main terminal block. Power restored confirming 120VAC standing at the terminal block, properly polarized and grounded. Units UI control now fully functional. Customer to advise.

"Found the units floating spin basket seizing on the outer tub shaft resulting in OL (Overload Fault) and operational failure reported. No less than a new outer tub with shaft assembly, spin basket, hub and washplate would be needed, additional component failures may exist. Customer has opted not to advance with repair service due to cost of repair exceeding replacement cost. Customer to advise.

"Found the units upper drawer door gasket pulled from the door liner receiver track preventing the drawer from fully closing. Issue found to be due to a sticky residue at the cabinet face adhering to the door gasket. Confirmed no physical damage to either the upper and/or lower drawer door gaskets. Units door gasket and cabinet face cleaned to prevent reoccurring failure. Units door gasket securely installed completing repair. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. "Found the spot welds of the upper rack right side track have separated allowing the wash rack to hang freely. This issue has been noted in Whirlpool Technical Service Pointer #: W11296667, requiring the installation of an updated track assembly to correct and help prevent reoccurring failure. Units original left side track has already been replaced with the updated track. Confirmed this unit falls within the listed Model / Serial range. New updated track supplied by pre-ID installed to correct. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Use S-Code S22916 to cover parts & labor.

I replaced the freezer light with new part. The lights are now working.

Found compressor working normally advise Mr. it was just a hard shut off of the compressor. It happens from time to time.

"I removed and replaced the ordered parts. I ran a factory calibration and also a normal cycle and tested each function and checked for leaks and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

"After inspecting unit, found probable high voltage board issue or control issues somewhere in the unit when looking up parts noticed most every part is discontinued, including all of the boards have been discontinued advised Mrs. of the situation, and she has decided to explore getting a new one.

"Found cold valve failing, wont fill with cold water or do a cold rinse intermittently. Replaced dual valve assembly and everything checks OK at this time.

"Customer concerned that the unit was not cooling properly. Upon arrival, checked temperature in both compartments and got 6 degrees in the freezer and 39 degrees in the refrigerator section. Temperature are good. Customer has their own infrared laser thermometer that is not working correctly because it is reading 40 degrees in the freezer on frozen food. Customer is now aware that their device is not reading correctly and informed them to purchase a digital thermocouple to properly measure temperature. Customer stating that they manually defrosted the unit earlier this week, and the unit has been plugged in for about 48 hours now. Ran through all components in diagnostics (evaporator fans, thermistors, condenser fan, etc) and all are operating properly. Forced defrost on the freezer evaporator since bi metal is closed and verified defrost cycle working. Found no water leaking onto bottom section of the refrigerator section, indicating that there are no issues with the drain pan in the refrigerator section. Informed customer that with everything working properly today I wouldnt be able to properly diagnose the unit for issues. Only possible repair I can recommend would be to remove the thermistor clip within the refrigerator evaporator and install zip ties on it. Offered to perform this repair for them, aware that it would be just a guess considering that the unit is working properly at this time, and they declined. Informed customer that there is a 30 day service charge warranty on the charges for today. Informed them that if they notice any temperature discrepancies or ice buildup to please call us before manually defrosting so we can duplicate the issue.

Found operational noise issue reported originating from the units idler pulley and right rear support roller. New dryer repair kit from truck stock install to correct. Unit ran through operational testing without fault. All unit operations to include sounds check good upon completion of service. Customer to advise.

Complaint Icemaker issues. I found that when the Icemaker filled it leaked into the ice bucket. I replaced the Icemaker with new part and tested ops. All ops and components tested good.

"Customer concerned that the unit is off balance during spin. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, found shipping bolts still installed on the unit. Removed shipping bolts and tested, all ops good. Also noticed that the customer has his old pedestals installed underneath the washer and dryer which are not compatible with the machine (check quick pics). This may cause off balance during spin. Job complete."
