Water manually poured into the units ice bin finding water leak originating from a small split in the attached gravity drain hose just below the ice bin drain port, picture attached for reference. Damaged drain hose section cut away and drain hose connection resecured, damaged section left with the customer. +2lt of water poured into the units ice bin. Found slow but steady drainage now without fault and/or water leaks. External drain hose terminates into an unaccessible dead space of the cabinetry preventing full inspection and/or corrective action to improve flow of discharge water. When available for prolonged monitoring the customer will allow the unit to resume normal ice production and advise should water leak and/or operational failure occur.

Installed new control panel. Main control needed is NLA. Customer is going to try to find that on eBay. Leaving new ui control on per cust because it looks better than the old one .

"Confirmed near instant ignition and proper flame envelope at all cooktop burners in settings low through high. Confirmed proper amp draw of all (Qty3) oven GloBar igniters. Both RH / LH ovens achieved first ignition within less than one minute of initiating bake cycle. Larger oven (RH) hit preheat of 350?F @ 13:18 / Smaller oven (LH) hit preheat of 350?F @ 16.28. Both ovens continued to cycle throughout operation maintaining an average temperature within +/- 12?F of setpoint. All unit tests and operations check good at time of service. Pictures throughout testing attached for reference. Customer instructed on Use & Care to include proper preheat times for optimal oven performance and baking results. Customer to continue use of the unit as instructed and advise should further service be required.

Removed and replaced all 4 suspension rods. Ran through a complete normal wash and cycle completed and no faults detected. All checks OK at this time.

No signs of a culprit. Cx states theyve already tried using baking soda, charcoal, and vinegar to resolve the issue with no success Advised cx to leave a bar of soap in both the RC and FC to over power the fish smell.

"Customer concerned that the upper right door switch is not lining up with the door, causing the door alarm to trigger. Upon arrival, inspected door switch and it looks to be working properly. Door switch is lining up with the knuckle on the door. Removed upper switch housing and inspected both switches. Both switches and their housing look to be in good shape and found no damage. Re-installed upper panel and was able to slightly pull forward the panel so it is engaging the switch better. Found no issues at this time.

"Customer concerned that the ice maker is not working, and there is ice on the bottom of the freezer section. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, temperature in the freezer is good. Tested ice maker and ice maker is working, suspect it got jammed at one point but is working properly now. For the ice buildup on the bottom of the freezer, found defrost drain is frozen. Installed dryer drain kit to drain into household standpipe. All operations test OK at this time.

Found unit with no charge preformed leak test found no pressure drop after 100psi of r134a purged system of gas and re charged with r600 ran for 20 minutes and air became frosty cool cust to advise job complete

"Unable to recreate customer issue with burners at time of appointment. Heat cycled perfectly. Customer is stating this issue is intermittent. Said there are times she has the dial set to medium and after a period of time can put hand on glass and it is cold. Tried all 4 burners several times, brought water to boil on both front burners without issue, switches controlled heat as I asked it to cycling burner on and off. Customer frustrated with performance of unit, but was unable to get unit to malfunction for me."

Installed new control panel and control board. Set oven to bake at 350? and confirmed unit heating to proper temperatures. Job complete.

"Removed outer door panel and lower toe panel to gain access to wash components found all water at base of unit had dried up prior to my arrival. Ran a short wash cycle and could not find any leaks, causing the E 15 fault code (flood detection) advise Mr., Advise to do dishes as normal and to call us back if the issue returns.

Found no voltage to icemaker due to multiple broken wires at bottom of freezer door. Showed customer where the sheathing on the harness broke and live wiring is exposed. Customer to contact Kenmore to request assistance with repair of replacing freezer door. Customer will advise.

Checked for issue with door. Found screws to hinge at bottom of fresh food door not secure. Straightened hinge and tightened screws. Issue of door rocking is good.

Replace door hinges and receiver confirmed door closing properly job complete

Found worn down gears on cam from the loose nut on my previous visit. Replaced the cam with truck stock part. Tested operations successfully. Unit operates as designed.

Found filter and screen damaged and not seating properly. Reseated filter and screen. It needs to be replaced and customer is aware but unit is working for now. Customer will buy new if problem persists.

Installed correct water valve and cycled icemaker. Confirmed icemaker properly filled. Advised to monitor unit. Job complete.

"Replaced gasket, vent, vent seal, lower door seal. All checks ok

Found lose connection at control reset and reinstalled connection/ molex all ops test ok customer to advise.

Got back to this unit and was able to install new user interface. After install installation of new user interface tried to connect this unit to get new software downloaded to remedy issues with this product. With the help of the customer who had already installed the software on their devices was able to get this unit to try to connect. The unit would go through the Bluetooth beginning version of the connection and then basically stall once it hit the Wi-Fi version of connection. The unit was timing out every single time tried disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times to no avail. Because of this issue persisting called into Tech line to get this reported and see if there was any next steps for fixing this unit. Had to call into the connect team after speaking with the tech line team. The connection team basically walked me through some different test testing to find that the previous company that had worked on this unit that had exchanged both the user interface and ACU had done so consecutively and did not allow for the model and serial number electronically to be transferred to the new parts. Because this happened the unit would not continue to connect because it could not verify the units model and serial number against pre-existing information. This was not going to or ever allow the unit to hook up to Wi-Fi to download these newest updates. This information was given to me from the connect team. Gentleman on the connect team was also able to set up for a replacement of this unit. Customer talked to this gentleman on the phone as well to confirm address email and the unit. As far as what I heard over the phone, the unit will be placed in order yet tomorrow. Customer will be in contact with customer care until this is fulfilled. Job complete."

"Got to this unit to hear from the customer that the top shelf of the refrigerator section was basically freezing most food items on the top two shelves. This has been an issue, typically with the diffuser not opening or closing when it should be or when its directed to and or sticking open. Got into diagnostics to find that the damper door was indeed not closing. Was able to replace this with a new damper door that was sent with. Temperature sensors in diagnostics appear as though they are under passing tests. Set the temperatures closer to normal settings from where the customer had elevated them because of things freezing. Gave some explanation to the customer about how things worked in this unit so she could orient food items in the shelving to facilitate proper cold in those areas. Have to wait at least 24 hours or so to ensure that these temperature changes are in effect and actually consistently seeing so-called normal temperatures again. As far as I know now job should be complete.

"Entered unit into diagnostics mode and did not find any stored fault codes. Performed automatic test and confirmed all ops are functioning properly. Complaint is not getting enough water. Advised unit is getting correct amount of water for the wash cycle that is being used. Advised, deep fill does not work on normal wash setting, you must use bulky, bedding, heavy duty, etc.. unit is working as designed.

"New updated multipoint LED module kit installed as per Whirlpool Technical Service Pointer #: W11606409 Rev G. Interior illumination now fully restored. This unit has surpassed 5yrs since installation, labor no longer covered, part coverage only.

"Customer concerned that the unit is not cooling properly. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, checked condenser and it is clean. Condenser fan and evaporator fan are both running. Accessed evaporator panel and found ice pack completely covering the intake on the lower section of the evaporator panel. Removed ice pack and checked air flow at the top of the freezer section and the air flow is much better. Accessed evaporator and found ice ball at the top of the evaporator, possibly from the restricted intake. Quoted customer to defrost the ice ball at the evaporator and re-assemble. Customer declining labor charge and will be defrosting it himself with a steamer. Informed customer to call us by Monday if temperature is still not down to 0 after the removal of the ice ball. Job complete.

Replaced control and completed function test. All checks ok
