"Got back to this unit, installed rear panel and heard from the customer that there were some other noises coming from this unit that were not there on the previous visit. Testing of the unit found that the agitation had a clicking noise to it. Also in spin, there was a tapping noise coming from the unit. Further investigation found that the tapping noise from The spin cycle was part of the wire harness on the lower extremity, making contact with either the back of the tub or the back of the unit. Once this was secured with a zip tie, no longer had this noise happening any longer. Then discovered that the noise of the agitator was due to a faulty piece on the slider, and it was loose on the rotor as well. Installed a new slider to correct this issue which also came with a new Bolt for holding the rotor on. Once this was all installed tested the unit and had no further issues moving forward. Job complete.

"F9-E1 (Diverter Cant Find Position), F9-E2 (Diverter Stuck On), F6-E4 (Float Switch Open) & F6-E3 (Suds/Air in Pump) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. As reported found the lower plastic elbow of the water tower assembly connecting to the sump assembly outlet cover compromised, blown through. Physical damage found can and will result in F6 faults as recorded. F9 faults recorded not related to physical damage found. Unit ran through diagnostic auto test. During operations test noise could be heard originating from the diverter assembly, struggling through rotation. Units float switch assembly fully functional throughout duration of testing. New pump motor assembly and water tower assembly will be needed to correct primary failures. Due to the unit age and expected cost to repair vs replacement cost the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Customer to advise.

"F5-E2 (Lid Lock Will Not Lock Or Lid Lock Failure) & F0-E5 (Off Balance Load) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Found the units suspension system heavily worn resulting in out of balance load conditions and high speed-spin failures. Additionally, found the lids plastic bezel cracked at and around both the left and right hinge pins which will result in misalignment between the lid strike and latch leading to lock failures and ultimately total operational failure. Unable to conduct full component load testing due to primary failures. No less than a new suspension kit will be needed to restore proper operation and balance through high speed-spin. New lid assembly will eventually be needed however, is still functional at this time. Due to cost of repair vs replacement cost the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Quote listed is for estimate only, no parts to be ordered without customers prior authorization.
