"Go to the unit to find lid locked and basket with an article of clothing in it with water. Controls would not respond. Found that the main control did not have any indication of life with the LED indicator. Unit was receiving 120 V AC current, this shouldve allowed for computer to be blinking at us to show life. It was not and with testing found that the drain pump motor had failed in such a manner that it probably caused the control to burn up. Gave customer estimate for drain pump, control, and possibly the user interface since we cannot test until the control is viable.customer did not approve estimate. Collected for service call today that is all. Job complete.

"Got back to this unit and installed new control. Went into the freezer section to evaluate the location of temperature sensor. Found temperature sensor to not be secure on the evaporator. This can cause inconsistent temperatures and skewed temperatures in units. Put the temperature sensor where we are supposed to put it on the bond between copper and aluminum. This secured the temperature sensor much more than previously. Also found that the mastic gum was not in the correct location for the expansion portion of the evaporator. This would cause uneven temperatures going into the evaporator and also cause excessive noise when the unit is running. Put the location of the mastic gum in the correct location. Was able to put the unit back together. Unit now operating normally. Temperatures yet to be seen as far as norm for the customer.

"Found the units drive belt broken resulting in drum rotation failure reported. All other unit components check good, drive motor, idler and support rollers all moving freely. All lint accumulation cleared from within the cabinet interior. New drive belt from truck stock installed to correct. Came to the house and determined the water line was kinked. Its the reason why we were not getting any water coming into the unit. Did not need any of the parts. Rerouted the line and pushed the refrigerator and back as possible without kinking the line. We are now getting water out the front dispenser and into icemaker. Job complete.
