"On arrival found the unit turned Off at the UI console, tank filled to normal level with murky (not clear) water. At the UI console power turned On, previous cycle canceled initiating automatic drain. Drain cycle initiated and completed emptying the tank of all standing water. Confirmed the units sump and filter screen clear of obstruction. Unit initiated wash cycle operations confirming proper water fill, wash pump motor function and pressure, etc. all without fault and/or water leaks. Unable to duplicate reported operational failure at time of service. Customer instructed to continue normal use of the unit, monitor operations and advise should further service be required.

"Prior to service the customer had remove the unit from power for 12hrs (doors left closed). Customer has since returned the unit to power. Operational noise issue no longer occurring however, 12hr thaw had been insufficient, heavy frost buildup at the evaporator still present and due to partial thaw has now turned to solid ice. Unit ran through full diagnostic testing finding and/or reporting no component failures. Defrost setting changed from ADC (Adaptive Defrost Control) to 8hr Timed Defrost to better help prevent reoccurring issue. Rather than risk potential damage during disassembly and/or accrue additional labor charges to manually thaw, the customer has opted to remove the unit from power for no less than 24hrs leaving the doors open through the duration allowing for full defrost. Customer will then return the unit to power, monitor and advise should further service be required.

"Got to this unit and found that the lower harness had been broken. Was able to get in there and replace the old harness with the new harness that was ordered. Found that the new harness also had a limited amount of reinforcement for the same spot that was broken. Went ahead and did a nice wrap of electrical tape from the breaking point all the way down and back again to ensure that this does not happen again, also put a reinforcement clip from the old harness on since the other clip was not ordered. Unit now set for success. Ran calibration also ran automatic test and started a normal cycle to ensure that the unit would indeed function correctly as a customer would use. No further issues found at this time. Job complete."

Got to this unit to hear from the customer that there is possible discrepancies and temperature and that the icemaker was no longer functioning. Because of this description from the customer immediately went to look at the wires at the bottom of the door and found more than two that were broken. Gave the customer the bad news that the only way to fix this is to replace the door door that by trying to fix these wires in place will only mask and or Band-Aid the problem. Gave customer estimate for the new door. This was not approved. Job complete.

Checked all functions on unit and could not replicate any noises. Both Evap and condenser fans are on and quiet. Cycled icemaker and cubes dropped and filled with no noise issues. I did shim the condenser in two spots that were close to the metal bracket and could potentially cause noise. Also advised the customer the Teflon coating on the icemaker is peeling badly and should be replaced. Mrs will call the office and advise if she would like parts ordered and will advise on noise.

"Got to this unit to find from the customer and from the unit that we were not getting proper water from the dispenser. Discovered that we had minimal water pressure coming out the dispenser. Once the water filter had been removed to check and see if bypass was working correctly the filter housing started to leak to the outside. Because of this, it was my recommendation to replace that filter housing specifically since we were not getting water pressure to the dispenser anyway. Customer had tried multiple filters to fix this on her own to no avail. Gave customer estimate for the replacement of the filter housing and was approved. Replaced the filter housing and got the unit. Tested to find that it is now back to normal working condition. No further issues found at this time. Heard the icemaker receive water before leaving. Unit should be back to normal working order now. Job complete.

"Got to this unit today to find that the user interface would not respond upon first touch. Was able to get into diagnostics and find that we had an error code F6E2 for user interface not hearing the control board. It has been an issue with some of these units to have one part replaced and not the other, and still have the same outcome of it not working. Because this is the case that I have seen time and time again gave the customer an estimate for both parts, the user interface and the main control. The price of these parts was quite extensive and not viable for the customer option today. Customer did not approve the estimate. This is believed to have been caused by a issue with the power coming in. This did not happen until the customer had a surge of power that caused other things to happen inside the home as well.
