"Got to this unit to discover there to be no ice in the ice bin. Also further checking found the icemaker would not receive any water in the filter test. Also found icemaker with no ice in it. Testing showed that the icemaker was not able to receive water. Found that the water fill was frozen over. Was able to clear this ice out and continue testing found icemaker to be able to move through harvest without issue and once the ice was cleared unit was also able to fill properly. After all of this was checked, put the unit back out of testing and was able to get the unit to resume normal function. This is a wait-and-see situation. At this time, the unit appears as though it should be able to make ice moving forward. No further issues found at this time. Job complete.

"Unit to find that the freezer door gasket was indeed falling down on the bottom leading edge of the freezer door. This was indeed causing an ice buildup underneath the freezer door basket, and in between the bottom of the freezer section and the drawer as well. This ice was not allowing the door to shut correctly. It was keeping the door open and also perpetuating this door gasket to come off Every time or every other time the door was shut. Was able to pull the door off and customer had a couple screws to put into the door to help hold that door gasket a little bit better. Other than that, the only suggestion to fix this is indeed to replace the door itself. This door and door gasket are made together. it is not a good idea to continue to replace the door gasket. We will not have good success. Job complete."

"Go to this unit to discover that the icemaker would not move forward even when spurred on into harvest mode. Was able to remove the icemaker and inspect found that the funnel in the icemaker had ice buildup in it and also found once the icemaker was removed that the fill tube also had a blockage. After these chunks of ice were removed quickly, put the icemaker back in reset the unit and tested, found the icemaker to start rolling around and was able to be delivered water as requested by the icemaker. all these ports and pieces went off without any issues. Unit is able to run through harvest cycle as well as deliver water. Believe that this unit on its own should start producing ice. However, this is a wait-and-see situation if the unit does not proceed, making ice, the icemaker would be under consideration for replacement. Job complete

"Customer concerned that the unit is not starting a cycle and is humming. Upon arrival, checked error codes and found no codes. Ran through all tests in diagnostics and all are working properly. Ran unit on a DLMS calibration. Started on a cycle with towels in the basket and monitored. Unit seems to be working properly at this time. "Adjustments made for best possible door / drawer function and seal. Unable to restore to original working order due to limited available parts status. Combined with normal settling of the cabinet, sag of the RC door assembly, etc. push cost for repair (if parts were available) well beyond units replacement value. Additional actions to improve could be taken however, would yield only temporary results i.e. reversal of units FC brackets, installation of a RC lower door hinge nylon spacer (13/16' OD, 1/2' ID). As the unit has been in service now in excess of 21yrs and available parts limit further action customer has opted to forgo further repair services and advance with unit replacement."
