"Customer concerned that the interior lights are not working in both sections. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, verified power and polarity at the outlet. Accessed refrigerator section LED module and tested 120vac input to the module. Removed module and inspected the R15 resistor and found that it is burnt and shorted. Informed customer that the module is defective, and possibly the freezer LED, but will need to try the main module first. Installed new module and the freezer light did not come on. Freezer LED is also defective. Quoted customer for a new LED Module and LED. Customer agreed to charges. Installed main module and freezer led, all interior lights are now working.

Sr#7737889538 got to this unit to find that the upper portion of the freezer door gasket was not ceiling had a significant gap in that gasket from the cabinet. Due to this went ahead and used adhesive to seal the inner and outer parts of the cabinet. Was able to heat the door gasket and get the gasket to start ceiling against the cabinet again. Called into tech line and reported these findings and the repairs that were done. No further steps required at this time to resolve any further issues. Did document this with whirlpool in case we do have to go back. Job complete

"Customer complained of loud screeching and long Dry times. Found ventilation hose kinked in the back preventing proper airflow. Also, I disassembled the entire unit and checked all moving parts, including the idler pulley rollers, motor, etc. and nothing was making an unusual sound. I did, however, find a small screw that was inside the unit that left scratch marks on the outer portion of the drum. Most likely this was the cause of the sound since it did not occur today. I removed lint shoot also from the rear to check for any obstructions in the Lint chute and it was clear. All functions now check OK. Job complete."

"New condenser and electronic inverter control assembly installed. Units sealed system vacuumed down in excess of +30 minutes ensuring the system reached and maintained a 29 inch vacuum. Unit restored to power and charged with 4.50oz R134a. Full charge dispensed into the system however, unit pressures held in a 10' inch vacuum on the low side, +110psi on the high side, restriction still present. Derek with Whirlpool T/ L advised on unit history and current status. After a total runtime of more than +45 minutes T/L had instructed to disconnect the unit from power and monitor unit pressures. After more than 5 minutes unit pressures failed to equalize confirming restriction of the sealed system. As all repair attempts taken have failed to clear the restriction, T/L has deemed the unit non-repairable. The customer will be contacted by Whirlpool Customer Service to advise on next course to action to resolve. All information has been recorded under Whirlpool SR# 7737789355."

Came to diagnosed unit and determine the problem with the light not working and also the right door not closing is because the top right door hinge is broken. It will need 5 parts in total to fix problem but unfortunately my parts department stated 3 out of the 5 parts are no longer available therefore we cannot order the parts. Only way to get parts is if customer can get them online through a 3rd party. They understood and will research it and get them if possible. Complaint no cool. I found that the entire back evaporator was frosted up. Also after defrosting the bi metal I found it was not attached to any thing. I reattached the bi metal to the tubing and advised customers to let us know if they continue to have issues.
