"I replaced the broken hose with new part and unit works as designed with no more leaks, faults, and errors.

Found the error comunication code but that was thrown from the bolt being loose last week but went to install slider and clutch just in case and center bolt is firmly locked in place and trying to remove it was going to strip or break my bit so i installed new board and cleared code and calbrated unit than put it through test modes and confirmed unit working as it should

Installed new dispenser assembly and ran short test. Confirm dispenser opening properly now. Job complete.

"Customer concerned that the unit is still stuck in a sensing mode even after running through a calibration with tech support. Checked error codes again and found a new code now, which is F2E3 for ACU and UI mismatch. Called tech support again and ran unit on multiple cycles and everything is passing. Tech support stating that the F2E3 error code is fine, it was probably just because we changed the main control and its nothing to worry about. Tech support and I cant replicate any issues and they said to put clothes or towels inside the unit and run it on quick wash to monitor. Informed customer of this and ran down the street to a different call and came back to the customers home after about 30-45 minutes. Went back to home and found that the wash cycle completed. Started again on casual cycle because thats the cycle the customer uses and noticed clicking noise coming from the actuator, which I havent heard before throughout any of my tests. Installed new actuator and tested unit again, found no further issues. If customer calls in again I am not sure what else to do, tech line and I cant find any further issues with this unit.

"Installed new freezer, fan motor and freezer blower motor and main control board at rear of unit. Found the new fan motor had a thermister wired into the harness, whereas the original, did not. I cut the thermister harness and placed a wire nut to form a jumper like the original. Advise customer to let unit run over the weekend and if issue continues to call us back."

Tech checked unit and found unit with bad wash motor . Tech advised cust of price of wash motor and cust stated they will buy new.

"Found the units suspension system heavily worn resulting in out of balance load conditions and high speed spin failures as reported by the customer. Additionally, found several coins lodged between the spin basket and agitator resulting in binding and warping of the agitator, damage to the hub gears and agitator likely. Unable to free the agitator and/or remove all coins without damage. No less than a new suspension kit and agitator would be needed to correct primary failures found. Additional damages may exist as a result of binding caused by the forementioned coins. Due to cost of repair verse replacement cost the customer has opted not to advance with further repair service at this time. Customer to advise.

Tech checked unit and found unit not draining . Unit is over 10 years old and cust will replace .

Rerouted wires at bottoms and fastened toe kick all opsmok.

Found spin basket is separating at tripod. Did not install rods. Not worth repair.

Found door stop on door was broke and would not let the door close. The door stop is on the exterior of the door seal and customer does not use it. I removed door stop all ops ok.

Found FF lights out. Removed lights and found one defective LED. Installed a known-good spare light for the customer. Freezer light with broken wire has been bypassed so now all remaining lights are working. All checks OK at this time.

Found unit frosted over Mr. said he accidentally left the door open. Advised Mr. if it happens again to replace the harness.

"Complaint weird noise. I found in diagnostics that the valves and the drain pump worked great. But when the unit tries to spin or agitate it makes a loud noise. I looked under the unit to find that there is oil all over the cam, the belt, and the holder. Unit will need a new gearcase. Customers opted to get a new unit.

Replaced drive board and lid lock assembly. Ran through a cycle and all operations test OK at this time.

Got to this unit and replaced basket and tub ring. Ran calibration to ensure function. No issues found at this time. Unit working properly job complete

Removed and replaced disposal. All operations test OK at this time.

Removed and replaced freezer door gasket and RH basket roller. Unit is still making ice at this time so icemaker and water valve were not needed. All checks OK at this time.

Installed switchs and module checked ok

"Installed new filter housing and valve due to leak,tested good afterwards.

"Customer concerned that the unit is not cooling. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, verified almost room temperature in both sections. Checked previous repair work and defrost drain is good. Verified evaporator fan and condenser fan are running. Compressor is running as well. Installed piercing valve onto compressor and compressor is pulling 1700 microns and is in a deep vacuum. Checked to see if unit has a charge and there is no refrigerant in the system. This is indicating a sealed system leak and recommended to customer that we do a full sealed system rebuild. Quoted customer for a new Evaporator, Condenser, Compressor. Customer declining repair at this time but will call us back if they decide to proceed. IF CUSTOMER CALLS TO PROCEED WITH REPAIR, PLEASE SCHEDULE FOR 2 TECHNICIANS AND 6 HOURS.

Found bad element and bad eoc customer to replace unit.

Removed and replaced foam all ops test the same called tech line advised sent pics they advised to will review and advise if swapping out unit.

"Refrigerator has hammering sound when dispensing water thru door,I removed filter and plugged it back in then tested good afterwards,recommend to use correct filter,the tear drop brand,authentic seal kitchen aid uses.

Unit is cooling. Customer does not want board replaced at this time

"Installed new pump and control and tested unit to confirmed unit is now working like it should and customer is very happy as she has a lot of laundry.

"Customer concerned that the ice bin is melting and the ice production is intermittent. Confirmed issue. Upon arrival, verified 7 degrees in the freezer and temperature is good at time of visit. Ran unit through diagnostics and checked all evaporator fans, thermistors, etc and they are working. Checked ice maker error codes and ice maker thermistor and they are both passing. Checked ice box fan and found that the fan pulsates at first, then ramps up. If fan is jump started then the fan runs fine. Ice box fan is weak, which is causing ice production issues and causing ice to melt intermittently. Quoted customer for a new Ice Box Fan. Customer declining repair for now and wants to think about it. Customer will call us if they decide to fix.

Installed new bracket and confirmed door of icemaker shutting properly. Also confirmed freezer door shutting properly. No further issues found at this time job complete.

"Found freezer door not shutting properly, leaving about a 1 inch gap between the gasket and the liner. Disassembled freezer and found both door closers were tripped and the connecting rod between the rails was out of alignment. Fixed door closers and aligned rails and door is now closing and sealing properly. All checks OK at this time."

"Initial inspection has found the UI console housing and keypad compromised however, the UI appears mostly if not fully functional. Confirmed 120VAC properly supplied and standing at the units main control. Units door latch function and thermal fuse both check good. Found through any cycle selection to include *Cancel Drain, no power is supplied from the main control to unit components selected. Primary operational failure due to a faulty main control. Additional component failures may exist however, all unit components cannot be fully tested under load due to primary control fault. Due to the units age at +20yrs in service this units control needed for repair has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is currently NLA. Unable to perform repair service due to part status. Property management advised.

"Door had discolorations all over it from the protective plastic film that came with the unit from the factory. It was revealed when the installers removed it. I used the Bosch, Paykel , Thermador Stainless Steel Conditioner wipes to remove the embedded stains and leave a beautiful brilliant shiny door. Customer was very happy.

I started by using my shop vac to empty the contents of the machine which was about half full. I was then able to remove and replace the drain pump. I ran a factory calibration and tested all functions and the unit now checks OK. Job complete.

"Found the right side spray nozzle and spinner missing with poor spray pattern of the remaining left side nozzle resulting in slow ice production issue reported. Complaint tapping. I ran the unit with a load of towels and found that the cabinet was making a vibrating sound with the top lid. all components and ops checked good without any faults or errors.

Installed new chute kit

Complaint no power to unit. I found that the outlet was wired correctly and that it was giving 120VAC. I called tech line and they had me check that the supply power board was receiving and sending out 120 which it was. The main control board was receiving 120 but was not sending out the voltage. Unit needs a main control. Customers want to buy the part themselves.

Cx complaint: water filter door wont close.Found physical damage to the water filter housing. Replaced the housing with a pre id part. Tested operations successfully. Unit operates as designed.

"Got to this unit and tested to find error code for low flow. Immediately started testing the unit to find out the water was turned off. This was turned off by the customer previously due to the fact that the unit was giving an issue when the unit gave an issue, customer turned off and turned water off as well. When testing was started, noticed there was no water coming in turned it on, and continued to test with testing found no issues at this time. Ran through two quick cycles and it was performed without any issue whatsoever. Job complete no error codes or issues found at this time."

Found water in base pan removed and ran unit ck all ok at this time no leaks found advised customer to run and keep an eye on unit

Tech checked unit and found unit with intermittent cooling issue advised cust unit would need Jazz board if problem occurs again.

"Tech found broken timer and knob to timer . Tech replaced both parts and tested unit . All checks good .

"Complaint wont wash. I found that the unit would turn on and instantly drain and would not stop. I ran a couple of gallons through the unit and the draining stopped and proceeded to let me utilize the diagnostics and normal cycles. But in diagnostics I found that there was a loud screech during the spin cycle. I found that there was oil on the belt, cam, and gearcase. I reported my findings to the customers and they opted to get a new unit.

Installed new condenser fan motor and seal around the back compartment. Unit is working properly and making its normal operating noises. Job complete.

Replaced dispenser motor and faulty gasket. Tested operations successfully. Unable to replicate the original complaint at this time. Advised cx to call back if issues persist.

Complaint unit handle broken. I found that the nut and screw holding the handle came loose causing the handle to fall down and come off. I retightened the screws and handle and all ops tested good. The handle the customers had was completely good and intact with its screws.

Tech checked unit and found a loose connection to million bar causing million to intermittently work. Tech removed million and reinstalled correctly. Tested and checks good

Installed new water valve and confirmed unit now putting in water like it is supposed to... Unit is now working like it should

Found unit working upon arrival. Advise Mrs. to call us back if anything happens. Also spoke to her about what the unit was doing her Mrs. unit is shutting off at random and coming back on. Advised her as a unit is working now there is no guarantee a fix she is going to talk it over with her husband and find out what they want to do.

Tech checked unit and found shorted compressor . Tech advised customer of problem and customer will buy new unit .

Replaced defective freezer door. Installed handles and door bin. Tested ice and water at the door successfully. Unit operates as designed.

Replaced defective water valve. Tested operations successfully. Cx had a new complaint that the freezer was getting frosty. Found freezer temp at the max setting. Adjusted the setting to the recommended setting. Advised cx to call back if issues persist.

"Replaced gasket and Mr brought up issue of moisture on gasket, found heat loop separation from cabinet called Whirlpool tech line and received SR number7738302406"

"Found multiple issues throughout inspection i.e. units evaporator encapsulated in heavy frost preventing airflow needed for proper cooling, excessive gapping between the FC door gasket (which had been replaced by the customer) and the cabinet allowing for air in filtration also leading to frost accumulation and loss of cooling. Unit entered into diagnostics initially confirming functionality of the defrost heater circuit however, within 10min defrost the heater began to reduce in temperature to below ambient. All other diagnostic component tests pass without fault. Units FC evaporator cover removed finding a separated (not disconnected) connection to the defrost heater element resulting in poor defrost results. Confirmed no damage, connection secured to correct. Diagnostic defrost heater test resumed heating aiding in clearing remaining frost buildup at the evaporator. Units defrost setting changed from adaptive defrost control (ADC) to six our time to defrost to better help prevent reoccurring cooling failures relating to defrost issues. Units FC door gasket heated to reform ensuring proper seal. All unit operations check good upon completion of repair. Customer to monitor and advise.

New upper spray arm and fitting kit installed properly securing the spray arm in position. Confirmed proper rotation of the spray arm without obstruction. Customer to advise.

Removed and replaced lid all ops test ok
