"Go back to this unit to find absolutely no ice in production. Icemaker had water in it, but had not spurred onto dump the ice. Because of this, replace the wire harness and icemaker in the ice room. Did this because the last time I was here when I unplugged the harness and plugged it back in everything seem to move forward. However, this is obviously not been the case for the customer. if this is not the problem, then we would be looking more at a issue. But as of right now, the icemaker is working correctly and was administered water just waiting to harvest.

"Got to this unit to find indeed it was not heating. Checked power to find full 240 V. Checked for vent restriction and found little to none. Got the back of the unit off and check thermostat high temp sensors and so on. Ended up, finding that the heating element was faulty and had blown. "Found the units sump filter unsecured allowing debris to circulate unrestricted throughout the wash system clogging multiple (most all) spray arm jets causing poor wash results reported. Customer has also recently switched detergents from a tablet to a liquid in attempt to improve wash performance however, may have led to oversuds conditions and possible water detection at the lower base panel leading to flood fault causing continuous run of the drain pump motor until breaking power at the homes circuit panel or allowing enough time to lapse for water at the base pan to evaporate. "F8-E1 (No water detected entering the washer or water level sensor trip not detected) recorded in unit history, cleared prior to testing. Confirmed the drain pump filter clear of obstruction and/or debris. Units pressure hose and air dome check good, without damage and also clear of obstruction and/or debris. Found icemaker molds full of ice but did not harvest. Test button did not force harvest on the icemaker. Sold customer new icemaker. Also advised customer to contact a plumber as the water pressure going to unit is low which could cause issues with valve seeping. "Found evaporator iced up again. Before manually defrosting unit cleared ice out of the way enough to test defrost thermistor. Found that when encased in ice, it read about 8k ohms. Thermistor shouldve read about 28-30k ohms. Thermistor was testing good at room temp but not when cold. Control was thinking the unit was too warm to need to defrost.
