"Found the dispenser solenoid set forward of the dispenser assembly disengaging the solenoid actuator from the door opening mechanism resulting in detergent dispensing failure reported. No physical damage found through inspection. Dispenser solenoid seated and secured in position to correct. Before and after pictures attached for reference. Unit ran through multiple diagnostic auto test cycles confirming proper operation of the dispenser assembly. Customer to monitor and advise should further service be required.

Replaced compressor and inverter. All checks OK at this time.

Diagnosed unit and determine the problem why the breaker keeps tripping is because of a weak breaker or something in the circuitry.. I used and ran an extension cord to a different circuitry outlet and its not blowing the breaker. Advised customer she needs an electrician and she understood. Job complete.

Installed new bearing kit tested operation of the unit and it is now making it normal operational noises and working properly. Job complete.

Came and inspected unit and determine the icemaker was caught in a hiccup state. Reset the main control and also Jump started the icemaker and it is now working properly. Also checked temperature and water pressure and they both are working correctly. Job complete.

Pulled unit apart and found a piece of plastic jammed into the side hitting the motor . Removed plastic and the motor is quiet. Job complete

Replaced disposal. Verified no leaks. All checks OK.

"Checked unit for leaking through ice maker. Ice maker came up with zero errors, completed harvest. Customer had unit on wheels leaning forward, explained proper installation is to be slightly tipped back to take care of other complaint of doors not closing properly. Customer also severely blocking back vents from circulating air properly, had complaints of door seal not sealing. Found no issue with doors sealing. Only issue I saw was with airflow restriction and improper installation. Found no mechanical failure on unit. No errors, thermistors all checked out. Temps are in range. Advised against blocking vents and tilted machine slightly backward for proper installation."

"Got to this unit to access icemaker, since there was no ice since the last visit. After removing the cover to the front portion motor access area found that there was dark coloring around the motor and the large gear of the icemaker. This has been an indication of excessive where without water or without the unit processing through harvest correctly. icemaker was not rolling around or processing for harvest on arrival. Was able to remove icemaker assembly and replace icemaker with new. After replacement tested the unit and immediately had water come into the unit. Icemaker then rolled around into the position. Fully believe that this icemaker will start to do its job. But did tell the customer if we dont see a full bin of ice within 24 to 48 hours that we need to know about it. All things working correctly at this time. Job complete.

Found sheet under agitator and also found the bolt was little loose holding it down which may have been the issue... Also explained to customer to use a mesh bag or make sure person using machine uses bedding cycle.

Found feet seized on unit. Was able to free them up. All operations test OK at this time.

"Go to this unit to find error code E2. This was for motor lost home position. Discussed with the customer that this unit had stopped making ice for several days and then the customer had reset the unit as though he thought. Possibility that the unit was not reset long enough at the breaker to have full effect. However, within the last 12 hours, the icemaker came back to life and had started to produce ice again. At this time, it is a wait-and-see situation as to whether or not this unit will continue to produce ice. all sensors and fans appear to be working correctly and it is not foreseen at this time that anything is not working correctly. We will wait to see what happens with this unit. Customer to let us know in the next 24 to 48 hours.

"Found error code for communication between main control, UI and induction boards. Found a couple pinched wires and repaired them, did not fix the issue. Would need the Ui boards or main board to repair but cost of parts is to much for customer. They will buy a new one."

I advised her to call them to see if they will cover cost of repair if in fact there was a dropped line. I gave cust estimate for timer replacement and was to expensive. Customer not repairing dryer at this time, they will advise us.

"Customer reports extended dry times, hot but damp loads at end of cycle, excessive moisture i.e. steam / condensation on the interior door glass throughout duration of cycle, etc. Reported issues are that of a vent restriction, not heater circuit failure. Unit reaching max temperature of 268?F in Timed Dry / High Heat cycle, picture attached for reference. Cycling of the heater circuit checks good. Customer has an annual AC duct and dryer vent cleaning service scheduled for later this month 11/2024. Customer will advise should further service be required following dryer vent cleaning with confirmation of required airflow at the homes vent terminator. Customer to advise."

"New inlet water valve installed. Ice accumulation developed since prior service cleared from the ice maker water fill cup. All initial unit tests and operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to monitor and advise should further service be required.

"Got to this unit and found that the evaporator in the freezer section was frozen over. This was the reason they refrigerator section was suffering. Was able to put this unit into a defrost cycle and let the unit do its job while I was checking on the other unit that this customer had us out for. When returning to this unit, it did not appear as though the defrost heater was working at first. This may be directly because there was so much ice and compassing the evaporator. It took a little while to actually start melting. since it was unclear, whether or not this heater was working it was my suggestion to the customer to get in there and defrost as well as find out whether or not there were components not working about the time that I was able to remove the rear cover started to hear some hissing and noticed that the heater wasnt working. Finalized defrosting the evaporator got the unit back together and started the unit back up to find proper frost pattern and that the unit was getting back to proper cooling. Also found proper cooling coming into the refrigeration section as well. No further recommendations at this time to change any parts. believe that this unit was for some reason unable to accomplish a full defrost. Told customer that if this were to continue this behavior, we would want to look further at either a wire harness or computer as this unit was not defrosting on its own accord.

"Got to this unit and heard from the customer that there was one instance where the unit had been left with excessive water in the bottom and had not either completed or not drained the unit itself out. Because of this issue immediately tried to run the drain pump. Had no issue doing so. Then proceeded to run a normal cycle to, find whether or not this unit is working correctly throughout the cycles. Unit was able to achieve all testing. At this time, no recommendations for repair as there is no issues found at this time. Job complete."

"Got to this unit and discovered that the track on the upper rack of this dishwasher for normal removal. There is a plastic portion on the right hand and the left-hand side that when pushed back all allows for the rack to be removed from the dishwasher without removing the track itself. Somehow, during use the portion that normally holds the rack into the track had been pushed over to the side and the rack come out of the track every time you went to remove dishes from the rack by rolling it out. This was happening due to that plastic piece getting caught behind the door seal of the unit on the tub side. There happened to be just enough room for that piece to get wedged in to where it couldnt be flipped back out correctly by the customer, this was an issue that pretty much just required a screwdriver to slide this piece over so the track could be rolled to put the rack back in the track. This was just a functional issue with the track itself. Showed the customer how to put the plastic piece back into service so this unit would be able to be used correctly, if this happens again. personally I have never seen this happen on another unit. No physical damage seen for having to order replacement parts. However, the customer was unable to get this back into position correctly."

"Got back to this unit with parts and was able to exchange out old parts for new. Once these parts were installed ran calibration cycle. No issues with calibration cycle continued on testing with automatic test. Also started the beginning of a normal wash cycle to confirm computer working correctly.all test went off without any issue. Unit is now working correctly job complete.

As per whirlpool if one side of solenoid is having an issue it will cause dispensing issues as water will be redirected away. Quoted to repair unit. Quote accepted. Replaced cold water double solenoid and tested operation. Unit running properly at this time.

"Found ice maker off from customer turning it off, turned on and tested and ice maker had a couple small cubes, unit filled properly and freezer was cold. Customer to advise if it doesnt make ice. Advised customer that service call is warranted for 30 days.

Found both error codes for lid latch ... customer approved payment.... Tested unit out after installing and confirmed unit working like it should and customer is happy

Installed new board and perform short test. Confirmed drawer opening and closing properly now and unit heating properly. Job complete.

"Got back to this unit and was able to install new trim pieces onto this door that were required to finish up the installation from the initial door repair. One of the vents was missing from the initial repair, causing heat to escape from the door and come in contact with the cooktop and making the cooktop extremely hot in between opening and closing of the oven door. Once this vent was reinstalled into the door checked with doing a bake cycle in this unit and found there to be no more escaping heat from places where it should not be coming from. Normal amount of heat coming from the vent that was installed on the door to send the heat into proper placing. No more functional error with this door or with escaping heat from the oven cavity found at this time. Job complete."

"Go back to this unit and found that there had been some debris in one of the lines not allowing water to move through this unit. Once these lines were cleared out, found the unit to be delivering water correctly now. No further issues found at this time. Job complete.

Found stripped hub assembly again. Upon further inspection, found that the gearcase splines are deteriorating, which is causing the hub to strip. Will need to replace the gearcase and hub again. Quoted customer to replace the gearcase and hub. Customer declining repair at this time. Job complete.

"Customer concerned that the unit is still having problems during the spin cycle. Confirmed issue. Found error code for shifter fault. Tested actuator and noticed loud chatter coming from the actuator itself. Installed new shifter and leveled unit, tested and calibrated, all ops good. Job complete.

"F8-E1 (No Fill, long Fill) recorded in history, cleared prior to testing. Unit ran through diagnostic manual load testing finding no VAC supplied from the main control to the units inlet hot water valve solenoid. Confirmed proper water pressure from the homes hot / cold water supply valves, no obstructions at the inlet water valve filter screens. Unit ran through diagnostic calibration cycle. Following diagnostic calibration cycle found VAC restored to the inlet hot water valve solenoid through both diagnostic manual load testing and normal wash cycle operations. All unit operations check good upon completion of service. Customer to continue normal use of the unit and advise should further service be required.

Found odor in FF compartment most likely emitting from algae buildup and gases coming up from drain pan. Removed pan and cleaned out and flushed drain with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Recommended regular charcoal in unit to absorb residual odors. All checks OK at this time.

Pulled unit and found noise due to a bad fan motor causing the inner blades to knock. Replaced fan motor and blade and unit is now running quiet. All checks OK.
