SR7740285850 Installed new timer but no response so Spoke with techline and got Sr as the push to start button while leads on terminal middle to left will drop down to 6 volts... Right side middle to right will run up to 243 volts... He has been recommended to a electrician again

"Customer reports the units upper drawer fully functional and without fault. Operational failure isolated to the lower drawer only. Found operational issues reported due to a faulty / degrading lower drawer main control preventing changing of cycle settings. Additionally found drawer position read errors (false open drawer conditions) the result of a related control fault and/or misalignment between the units control emitter, prism and/or receiver. Alignment issue may or may not be partially due to warping or damage of the drawer assembly control receiver. No less than a new lower drawer control will be needed to correct primary failure. Additional component failures may exist. Due to the unit age at +20yrs in use and expected cost to repair the customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Customer to advise.

"F8-E1 (No fill, Long Fill) & F0-E5 (Off Balance) recorded history, cleared prior to testing. Unit ran through calibration cycle, diagnostic auto test, diagnostic manual load testing and initial Rinse, Drain & Spin cycle without fault and/or water leaks. All unit operations check good through full course of testing. Failure reported appears likely due to a incorrectly installed drain configuration, 3/4' inch PVC, estimated 12ft run with no vent, pictures attached for reference. Operational issues, drain failures, etc. will be more common with higher water output on the homes drainage system. POC advised on test results, units current status and recommended action to correct. Customer to advise.

"Units door seal in poor condition however, found primary water leak originating from under the unit at and around the sump assembly. New sump, gasket set and door seal would be needed to correct water leaks found. Cost of repair meets or exceeds replacement cost. As such, customer has opted not to advance with further service at this time. Customer to advise.
