"Recall - Dryer is full of moisture/condensation. Checked and verified steam valve is not connected to a water supply, and per the appliances service history, steam function was disconnected back in August of 2017. Removed vent hose from back of unit and found hot air blowing back at me, it appears there is back pressure allowing outside air to flow inside the dryer which is creating the moisture issue. The vent itself is not clogged, as the unit is full of condensation even when not in use. Advised property manager to have vent company back out to ensure there is a flap on the roof vent which should reduce air from flowing back in the appliance."

"Complaint dripping. Found that the water valve is continuously letting water drip even when the unit is off. Also found that the belt is squealing when the unit is in spin. Customers will need a water valve and a belt. I had both parts as stock. I replaced the valve and the belt with brand new parts ran unit in diagnostics and normal cycles. All ops and components tested good, no more leak and squealing . Job complete.

"When I arrived, I noticed condensation at the top portion of the center mullion only about the first six or 7 inches down. I felt that spot, and it was ice cold. I then moved my hand down the center, mullion, and felt it start to gradually warm up to where it was nice and warm about waist level high. I checked overlap of door gaskets and they all sealed nice and tight. I disconnected the condenser fan to allow the heat exchanger loop to heat up. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke with Branden. We waited about 10 or 15 minutes and at that point the top portion, and also the bottom portion were ice cold as well. The center of the Moen was hot. Exchange, Luke has recessed away from Center Molean and is no longer functioning properly. Unit deemed non-repairable as this cannot be serviced. Got to the unit to hear from consumer that the unit appears to be turning on and off approximately every 10 to 15 minutes. This is indicative of bad start run device. Plugging it back in after having unit unplugged for five minutes or so to hear only the condenser fan sound. Compressor barely kicking on if at all and not functioning longer than 2 to 3 minutes. Changed out start run device after being approved for parts and cost. Installed and tested. Unit now cooling and compressor staying running.

There was no indication that the unit was not defrosting thoroughly other than the spots that were not defrosted. The rest of the evaporator had normal defrost pattern going on. Believe this to be an outcome of the defrost thermistor not being low enough or close enough to the evaporator to register properly. Move the defrost sensor to do so. After defrosting the unit plugged back in and turned on. At this time unit started to cool back down saw 45? in fridge raider section before leaving. heater in the freezer section tested good as well as wire harness and Eva fan. No further recommendations at this time. Well have to wait to see what this unit does. Collected for service call and labor for defrosting.

Got to the unit and installed new door seals and Molean strip. Once parts installed found the door gaskets needed to be heated. This helped to expand and seal door gaskets properly. Also level the unit back slightly from the front to help doors. Want to stay shut against the refrigerator cabinet. also found the lower sections were set for 32?. This also played a part in being too cold in the bottom section which was where we were seeing most of the condensation. Within 24 hours condensation should stop.
